We hammered through Sniper Fi without any major problems, but I've not played the majority of the Spec Ops maps... |
You definately need a mic for doing the rest of the maps with another person online. Otherwise, I found it easier to have someone play with me in person, as it maked it much easier to co-ordinate and to discuss strategy and w/e.
There are some spec ops maps that are just that frustating to do solo, you definately need the extra fire power of a second player. Need any help, PM me and I'll add you, I plat'd MW2 btw (been lazy with other games) _________________ I have no signature

Got the platinum for Dead Nation and inFamous.
Neither were that difficult, playing through on easier difficultly settings made morbid on Dead Nation quite easy, knowing weapons and spawn points helped alot.
I was a bit disappointed with inFamous’s karma system as it didn’t really change anything much story wise and I also fell through the ground more times than I would have liked.

I'm guessing it's going to be a while before we see anyone get the Platinum for Catherine. _________________

I'm thinking I might go for Catherine, but I get the feeling it will be tough, and I will give up.

Its difficulty is currently averaging a 9/10 on PS3 trophies, putting it in league with Battlefield: Bad Company, Disgaea 3, and Street Fighter IV. Just from looking at the trophy list, it's a very difficult game. _________________

Ouch. I had a quick browse of the achievements and the ones that stick out for me are gold prizes on hard difficulty and see all the endings. Any idea how many endings there are?

I'll never get platinum then unless there's way to manipulate the game with save files . I can do challenging trophies but the endurance ones kill me.

You can manipulate the game a little, by changing your answers to the questions at the end of the game. You can get a couple of endings per playthrough, with a total of three required to get the Platinum. _________________

Lego Harry Potter isn't hard at all. I've got the platinum for it and it was just time consuming collecting everything.

Broke my platinum cherry.
Ashes 2009
then an hour later I got the platinum in
Fallout 3
could've done F3 last night, but I was too itching to do Anchorage campaign instead of grabbing the speech challenges which I needed. _________________

Yeah it locks up quite a bit on these higher levels. But only once on the DLC bits. The rest is just in the wasteland. But once done, I'll retire the game for a while. _________________

Just got the Portal 2 platinum trophy, pretty happy about it as it's my first one. Good thing one of my friends hasn't played co-op before, so I was able to get the Professor Portal trophy without any issues. _________________
