Not even if I promise to buy Bloodlines off Steam? Seems a little hypocritical that you're pushing people to buy a game that you like, when you won't try one yourself. _________________

Anyway, moving on. There's a few new screenshots of Tales of Xilia floating around, here's an image dump for you all!
It seems that the game uses a level up system similar to that of FFXIII. Such a good looking game.
Also, some news on Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Controllable event scenes?
| Quote: | Speaking to what Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distanceâs story will be like, Nomura also told Famitsu heâs trying to explain it to Disney little by little, since itâs difficult for them to understand it all at once. Interestingly, Nomura says the reason Kingdom Hearts has a complex story is that Final Fantasy creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi, once told Nomura long ago that he needed to make the story more complex than planned, or else it wouldnât be able to compete with other games.
The 3DS game, however, will be somewhat different from the previous games in this regard. âThe theme this time was âbold action,â but we also wanted to stress the importance of the storyâs tempo,â Nomura said about Dream Drop Distance.
âThough the story is important to fans as shown by the results of the [Famitsu] survey, it wonât be drawn-out,â he elaborated. The Famitsu editor conducting the interview asked if this meant the game would have fewer cutscenes, to which Nomura replied this wasnât the case.
âNot meaning that weâve decreased the number of cutscenes, but having each one explained one by one reduces the tempo of the game, so weâre introducing a new system to make up for it,â Nomura replied.
âItâs a directionally different system like whatâs being introduced in Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which wonât have cutscenes; itâll be a sort of integration where you can play during the event scene. Along with that, Sora will fight alongside different friends. Thereâs also a secret movie being prepared, so please look forward to it.â |
It's interesting that he mentions FFXIII Versus as well. I wonder what this will mean exactly? _________________

You're really not having much luck with being a 360 owner lately, eh? _________________

Release it on 360 then release a better version on the PS3?
I think Xillia will remain PS3 only, mostly due to the deadness of the 360 in Japan. _________________

I'd say relative deadness, in any case. I shall love the 360 for Steins;Gate, if nothing else. What's the main thing stopping you from getting a PS3, Jahan? _________________

Tempted to order the Xenoblade bundle, problem is, Game.UK doesn't accept Paypal and Gamestation's Paypal is glitchy at best (They say they do/don't support Paypal) _________________

Just get a debit card =p That's what I did to avoid non-paypal online stores.
I'm tempted to buy this locally... if we keep importing we'll never see these niche titles get anywhere in Australia in the future which can be problematic if import tax is eventually introduced here.
Buying it locally will give 250 Nintendo club points but the bonus CD seems to be included inside the game case, I wanted the smexy red limited edition jewel case like Japan got :/ Red controller looks nice but I already have a black one from the Monster Hunter wii bundle.
But then apart from the red controller you also get 3 mini signed posters in that bundle <_<
Ok you win UK I'm importing. _________________

I wanted to go with Gamestation because of the Paypal thing, but after 15 minutes of getting nothing but errors in the checkout, bought it from Game using a debit card. I don't know if the Paypal thing was just a glitch on the day or not, but the site didn't want to let me complete the purchase using it as my payment method _________________

I usually just go out and buy a pre-paid visa when a store doesn't accept Paypal. They cost $3 from Woolworths and Coles probably has them too.

Ozgameshop is the cheapest ($45) but you don't get the controller.
