No random encounters, customizable equipment that changes your appearance, expansive world and awesome music? Hell yes! Sounds like my kind of game.

Thanks for the preview The more I hear about this, the more excited I get. It's dangerous to get your hopes up, but this sounds like it might be one of the best JRPGs to hit home consoles in quite a while. _________________

I haven't played the previous entries of the series, but my god, those are some seriously pretty environments. I watched some videos and I embrace the whole running around and exploring with real time combat. The future mechanic looks great as well.
English accents are a big plus for me.
(Also kinda getting a Monster Hunter vibe from this).

Xenoblade has basically nothing to do with Xenogears and Xenosaga. Different universe, story and all that jazz. Its only got 'Xeno' in the title as a homage to Tetsuya Takahashi, who wrote the other Xeno games as well as Xenoblade. _________________

Ah good so I won't miss out on anything. Seriously, just looking at those screens and the gameplay vids on youtube, I really don't want to be missing out.
Where is everyone ordering their copies from? Ozgameshop only lists the single game at ~$45, but I've read somewhere the UK has a bundle which comes with a classic controller pro. The Aus bundle has a sample soundtrack, but I'd probably buy the full soundtrack anyway so I'm searching for the UK one.

I think the only places selling the bundle with the controller (and 3 mini posters, I think) are Game.co.uk and Gamestation.co.uk They're both the same price 55 pounds including shipping, which is a bit under $85. I've preordered from Game.co.uk for the bundle. _________________

Just looks so colourful and amazing and I can't wait to pick it up.
I really hope it washes the bad taste of Disaster: Day of Crisis out of my gaming mouth.

It looks to me that this game is going to be a shining example for all those that are saying at the moment that AAA games are too long if they last more than 10 hours. (seriously, look it up on IGN what a bunch of @#$%^'s)
This will perhaps also shut up the people pushing thier propaganda (with an agenda) that Japanese RPG's are dying out. What a load of rot. All that was needed for JRPGs is to take the core mechanics and evolve them. Rather than spit out copies from the past. Or worse yet, change them into an action game aimed at casual gamers only.
I cant wait for this game, so i better buy a Wii so i can play it :)
Thanks Jarod for giving us this exciting sneak peek.
