Thanks Karai, sounds pretty cool. Are there more dynamic ebbs and flows throughout the whole album?
I'm sure most of you have heard it but Devin Townsend's Deconstruction is available and it's a monstrously dense, beautiful beast of a metal album.

But how can there be no more acoustic black metal? That's like a world without Duke Nukem Forever! _________________

New Mastodon album artwork. Bit of a depature from their norm.

Can everyone who loves metal please obtain and crank BATTLE BEAST "STEEL" please?
Theres a clip and most songs on youtube.
Really give the album a few spins, its mind blowingly METAL. The female vocalist is by far the best I have heard in a long time, the clips pretty cheesy but seriously check this out. Especially those of you who like JUdas Priest (think painkiller), Dio, WASP, Nightwish, Blind Guardian and just straight up metal worshipping metal!
I am in love.
SHOW ME HOW TO DIE!

Tried to do a search, though haven't found anyone mentioning this band:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fhrb-_0wzPM&feature=related
Suidakra - Wartunes
Came across this band whilst extensively searching for a band that sounds somewhat similar to Eluveitie, to a degree, all of one night. _________________

Only just. The dude can obvisouly shred like a demon, but as with lots of sweeps (on the neck pup) all the pick attack goes bye bye, which leads to that casio sound. Dude is neat though, no half fretted notes. _________________ I'd be apathetic, but I can't be arsed.

The absence of interesting drumming just highlights how boring their music has become. _________________

The dream theatre song isn't bad, doesn't touch what they did before but still pretty solid I think. _________________

I'm quite broke at the moment. Otherwise I'd be there with a unicorn horn on.

The people of Youtube have, very accurately, compared it structurally to Pull Me Under. Someone even commented on the keys being similar. Now, with no Portnoy to add a bit of fire (and non-pedestrian drums) to the mix, it's sounding even less interesting than Octavarium. _________________

I can def hear the similarities now
