Hi PALGN smart phone owners,
I'm looking for a decent chess game for Android, can anyone offer a recommendation? There are a whole bunch in the app store, mostly free, but I have no idea if one is better than another. I suppose that I’m essentially asking if anyone wants to play chess with me.
If available the only feature I would want is cross platform compatibility (as my buddy who I play with occasionally has an iPhone).

Apparently the chess.com app is cross compatible?
"I know there were a few people on this and other forums who were mad that there wasnt an android version of word to friends and were looking for cross platform chess apps. There is one , its the chess.com android app, check it out on chess.com, i use it to play with my friend who has an iphone and it works great."
