Didn't you get the online pass with the game?
And I think so, yes; most people have advised me to redeem my Kombat Kode on a U.S. account on the same Xbox 360 and that logging back onto my Australian account will work then. I plan to do the same for the upcoming DLC pack. I assume that you have to do the same for PSN.

I've been following a thread on WP about this as I was thinking of picking the game up. Apparently a bunch of TPG users are up in arms because they can't connect and play online.
A TPG rep has contacted WB about this and their response is pretty crazy:

That's really terrible news to hear. Due to the hacking trends, I'll expect WB to get hit next.
I have to say, its such a shame these days a fighting game's life is dependent on online play and that many people overlook a great game just because it does not have that one feature. With the state of MK in Australia, I assume it would be too hard to form a community dedicated to it. Even in America, there are plenty of dedicated KOFXIII communities despite it being available only in arcades at the moment.

That's pretty old news, but not too many people on the PS3 side care about Kratos all that much.
On other news Skarlet was just released on PSN. Are Aussie ISPs banned (or going to be) from accessing MK content on the PS Store as well?

Just bought Skarlet and didn't realize she also comes with klassic kostumes for Cyrax and Sektor. The outfits are also free through the compatibility pack download if one chooses not to buy DLC. Fantastic!

Now that's the ultimate curve ball. I know a lot of people are going to be complaining about that. I'm not thrilled, but I'm not upset about Freddy being the final DLC character. I think he might be my #1 to counter-pick Johnny Cage.

So was the Aussie IP banning true??
I only recently got the game an tried to get online last night an everytime I got to character selection screen it would kick me out of game???
I only used 2 day trial as psn was down when I tried putting in code!!
Any help?

Well yea I was on a UK account, an I could even watch fights online in KOTH but as soon as it was my turn to fight BAM, as I said I was only using 2 day trial as psn was undergoing maintenance, hopefuly entering the online pass code will fix issue but after reading a bit on dfferent forums I'm worried I'm not going to be able to play online at all!!
