Nerdy is the new cool!
EB has it up for preorder for $598. GAME beats that with $597 + a free copy of TFU2 for the first 200 preorders (online orders only). EB doesn't list a release date, while GAME lists it as 31/12/11, I'm guessing because they said it'd be released this American fall/this year. Zavvi lists a UK release date of December 2, and if it comes out around the same time here I'm unsure whether to preorder or to hope it won't sell out before Christmas and wait for Boxing Day sales. How limited is the bundle likely to be?

Typical of my luck, how Microsoft announces two exclusive and limited runs of Gears of War and Star Wars themed Xbox 360 slims after I just bought a new one. I reckon there will be a Star Wars themed vault like from that custom site who have made the Gears of War 3 vault attachment, for those who will be missing out.

That's what I said when the Halo Reach Console Edition was announced. I still went ahead and traded my new slim in for one. =P

A closer look for those interested
I dunno... I think it would be better if the controller wasn't C-3PO gold. It just looks a bit out of place. I like the console itself though.
