This older lady (60ish) who sits near me has the Red Dwarf song as her ring tone. If that wasn't amusing enough, just heard her saying that her son put it on there and she finds the song really annoying but dosn't know how to change her ringtone, lulz

getting ADSL 2+ on friday, been in the new house since the end of march and only had prepaid wireless broadband (no phone lines) phone lines got connected last friday, and was unsure whether there would be any ports for ADSL 2+ here, but today a telstra worker came and had a look and said there is so friday we get connected at last.
now only problem is i cant decide what to download first hmmm....

Being in a lecture listening to a student trying to shut down the lectures point on amazing people such as Beethoven not being born but are results of environment and practice only to be shut down by the lecture and having the whole 500+ person lecture theater laughing at them. Classic!

i skipped the whole 'pickup line' thing; had been unsure all night whether we were flirting or she was just really friendly whilst we competing at trivia night at the mana bar, ended up at the empress later on to see her band play when she made some comments about how my housemate (ocarina girl) was lucky to always have guys paying her attention/asking her out, so i threw caution to the wind and just went 'i don't know if you're single, but if you are; would you like to go out sometime?'

pay day today - checked my balance and had about $2500 more than i expected.

checked my payslip afterwards, and was given a "Special Recognition" bonus.
i'm not sure what for yet, as i've not received any letter or email explaining the reason, but whatever it was for, it was a very nice surprise.

Seriously this shit is just getting hilarious.

I mean first Capcom vs Tatsukono had the new characters leaked through art, lupinko leaked the entire roster of mvc 3, evil ryu and oni got leaked for arcade edition of SF 4, now the entire roster of ultimate MVC 3 got leaked on the day the game was announced.
