Nope but when they do do updates, there are incidences where they just didn't inform the user of the updates and the new settings are by default to reveal. Like auto face-recognition tagging. Not that I have an issue with it, I got serial taggers on my facebook though (like my sister). _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

I remember now where I heard it. It was that "IT" guy on the today show. He gave a big speach about how your info on facebook is not secure even if you think it is.
Anyway I don't use these sites mostly because I simply don't like them. I like forums much better. _________________

Okay, finally got access to Google+ and after a few minutes, it makes a difference. There is a steeper (not too steep) of a learning curve but that is to just understand the circles and adapting to the interface. After that, settings for privacy can be done by editing a profile so I get to see which information is shown to whatever I set it which Facebook does but in a less intuitive way and less options.
The email setting is less complex than Facebook which I love because the other day, I spent ages having to go through the email notification.
The lateness into the market is a bit of a worry for something with a lot of potential. Interesting to see if it will be better integrated into the Android OS. I am a big Google user so this will be great for me but it won't stop me from using Facebook as my friends heavily rely on it so much they don't even sent event invitation through email anymore! _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Set up my G+ this morning..its interesting to say the least and I think the android app works pretty well.. though whats the point when you have less than 5 people on your G+ ?
I also set it up so statuses posted on G+ appear on my fb, however photos dont seem to show up. _________________

Well you could get more people on your G+. Apparently there's 10 million users already and 20 million expected by next week.

1. You have a unique Facebook email which allows sharing via email. You can find it by going to http://www.facebook.com/mobile/ and pressing "Send my upload email to me now" on the bottom left corner of the screen. You'll receive an email containing a unique email - keep this safe because ANYONE with this email address will be able to post ANYTHING to your Facebook profile.
2. Just create a circle called "Facebook Upload" and add your unique Facebook email contact to it.
3. Simply share as you would normally from G+. Just make sure you're sharing to "Facebook Upload" circle as well when you want to post something to Facebook. Also tick the box that says send notification to those without G+
As I said before, this will work fine for text statuses. They wont show up instantly (usually <10 seconds), but I've yet to get photos to work properly. _________________

I think I'll wait for a proper conduit, then.
A Twitter conduit would also be nice. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

Weeeeeell I finally got in. I have to say I think this thing is waaaaaay too complicated, and that will put most casual users off, who are the intended audience.
It took me ten minutes to figure out how to post a message and then I didn't understand who was going to see it, it also took too many clicks! _________________

Really? That makes no sense at all to me. Obviously Facebook took a while to get the hang of, maybe you're used to that?
I personally believe G+ is easily accessible and quite intuitive.

Found out from a friend with G+ to fb posting, there is a limit of 50 characters and fb will strip any images from your post. Its apparently Fb's way of giving a big F.U to google + _________________

I joined club Google+ the other day.
I don't really use G+ or Facebook, so who knows why. It sounded cool at the time. _________________

I do hope G+ picks up in popularity over time, I absolutely love G+ as a social networking platform, and I don't think it's 'too' late for Google to give the social thing a shot - here are a few reasons why I believe so:
The problem with Facebook, is they began with a social networking platform, and attempted to bring other functionality into it later on, whereas Google have already had a huge userbase through people using their search engine, and Gmail.
Video calling through Google Chat (integrated into Gmail) has existed for quite some time, and it's worked very well; the only thing G+ adds to that is the ability to hold conference calls.
You can share status updates, links, and have a large array of sites inside the inner 'Google circle' wherever you are on any base Google site (apart from Youtube), be it shopping, news, etc.
The interface for G+, even when it's consideried a 'closed beta', is very clean. One annoyance many people (including myself) find with Facebook is the over-abundance of frivulous applications, spamming up your news feed. Farmville, Cityville, spam apps that someone on your list was stupid enough to fall for, etc.
Google seems to understand what many users want, and have tailored G+ to these requests. Clean chat that WORKS, group chat that WORKS, video chat that WORKS (widespread problem of FB not detecting iSight webcams after installing the latest Skype), and what's amazing about this: no bloat. What I want from a social networking platform is what I get from G+, without any added crap that I'll never use.
Heck, even the ads are non-intrusive in any Google product - they're text ads, that I don't even notice, rather than bulky ads in the sidebar with Facebook telling me some lesbians are 'ready' for me.
I do hope G+ gets enough popularity to make an impact, I'm really enjoying the experience so far. _________________

^Predictable. Google to me always seems to be more technical but that is what I love about Google. I hate for it to lose it technical appeal being a major geek that I am.
