Because I did. Lasted a good 15-20 seconds too.

Anyone else feel that?

I'm in Mooroolbark. It seems to have affected the eastern suburbs more.

Definitely stronger than the ones we had a couple of years ago.

Also: All the construction work out the back of my place has stopped since it happened. I wonder what the union rules on earthquakes are...

Yeah, someone here just mentioned that a minor tremor hit 'north of the city'. Certainly didn't notice anything here!

Sounds like it was the same fault that shifted and caused a series of tremors a few years ago.

S.E Suburbs and didn't feel the ground shake - actually thought it was the wind picking up and the roof was going to be torn off.

Camberwell here, my bedroom shook but I thought it was the wind, then I turned on the news. Very minor tremble here but I felt something.

I thought that was the wind as it's been blowing really hard. I'm in South Yarra. Having lived in NZ it didn't feel like much of a quake...

I think I noticed something but dismissed it quite quickly as wind or something.

In the South-East apparently all my friends and family felt it, but me and my girlfriend slept right through it.

We're on the 6th floor of Melbourne Central tower and the windows were shaking. They've shook once before with a full on wind gust, so we assume it must've been that - depsite not looking windy at all.

I had my music going in my car, but it might have explained why people were all looking like they were crazy on the footpath lol.

Yep, I'm in Kensington and felt the couch wobbling. Thought it was just the dishwasher acting strange then the news bulletin popped up saying a magnitude 4 occured.

USGS however state it as 3.3 and I'd believe them over Channel 7...
