From here, I've decided (to stop being lazy for starters) to start adding how long it takes for them to receive the code and I will do up an average time statistics on it. If you wish to help out, here is the template below. Doesn't have to be accurate, just an estimate will do.

Going to be purchasing a 12 month subscription within the next week, my current subscription ends on the 17th. Since 2007 i've always struck it lucky buying a 12 month subscription kit at the right time. The first year, i actually snagged a kit for the original Xbox.... still worked for the 360 and it was under $40. Have had the subscription kits (ie: the 12 month code, bankshot billiards 2 code, 200 ms points code bundles) each year since anywhere from $40 - $60.

I've been lucky to not have to worry for a few months of the year: 2x 3 month codes from the repair center when 2 different consoles had to be sent off, 1x 3 month code from the Lips promotion when that game came out and a few individual month codes here and there. I originally signed up as a Gold user (refuse to say member... too many Goldmember jokes to be had

), in January, my renewals would gradually change to Feb, April, June.... and currently August.

While i still regularly use the 360, i am not on Live as often as i used to be. Since September/October of last year i've had problems connecting wirelessly. Have been using the old ethernet cable periodically (usually when i am the only one home - less chance of it being tripped over and my console falling on the ground!).

Everyone probably knows this by now, but i found out today that Woolworths are now stocking 1500 + 3000 point cards, as well as the Xbox Live subscription cards (as in the supermarket, not Woolworths owned Big W or Dick Smith stores - as i know they've stocked MS Points & Subscriptions for years).

As far as i can recall, they are being sold at RRP. I know we can get them cheaper online and such

, this little piece of information might come in handy at some point - particularly if they get reduced every so often like they tend to reduce itunes cards (buy 2 get $10 off etc).

Just ordered a 12 Months sub from Buzz Gamez for $43.15. Australian run site with a physical store. $47.95 normally but you can use the code "TAUNTED" and receive 10% off. Out of stock at the moment but they say if you order they receive the codes within 24 hours and send them out when they receive them. I'll update on how it pans out anyway.

ok, so my Gold Sub expires in 2 weeks - does Ozgameshop post the actual card, or do they just post the code?

if they post them out - which other sites are still reputable? clicking through a bunch of these links and it seems a few of them no longer trade.
