Posting as an Expression of Interest kind of thing.
I'm looking at playing some Quake Live but with more PALGN folk rather than the usual pubbing. While pubbing is fun and all, Quake is even more fun with mates and people you know, so I was wondering if anyone wants to have a couple of team games like CTF, Clan Arena, TDM etc. I'm going for maybe tomorrow night for some casual stuff and perhaps even tonight if some people have the time to play.
This isn't competitive, it's just to play a game and have fun!
My ID on Quake Live is Frozencry, feel free to add me any time. Any skill level is welcome, and I also have access to Puddingforks ventrilo so we can use mics too. That and yes, I can host matches; I have a pro account so privacy is assured and you won't get random God Kings coming in.

EDIT: And yes, Quake Live is entirely free.

I wouldn't mind have a try. Do I just have to register on http://www.quakelive.com/ ?
Used to play a fair bit of Quake 1 but never got anywhere near competitive with Q3. I just can't get the hang of the railgun - maybe I shouldn't have skipped Q2 =P

Yeah all you do is sign up on quakelive, then just let the plugin install through your browser and that's about it.
