Previously, I added $20 when the patch first came out but am down to $2 so went to add $5 [then later tried $10] only to be told I could not charge the card. It's not a case of having insufficient funds so wondering if it's a problem with their server or what. Postcode is set to a US one (since it's for the US shop) but that's different to billing card one obviously. Hmm. Not sure what to do.
And are we getting/do we have 3DS points cards here and would they work for the US store? |
Anyone? |
Our 3DS cards do not work on the US 3DS store.
And I used my real postcode with a 0 out the front and the payment went through. That was 2 weeks ago, though... _________________

Anyone know if a UK 3DS can play our Australian 3DS games?
I read something awhile ago but I can't remember what it said. _________________

They should be able to. We're both PAL. We can access the UK 3DS store just fine. _________________

Thanks for the tip - but no luck. "Error Code: 005-6511 This credit card cannot be used. For more information, please contact your credit card provider."
I'll speak with the bank.

Hey I just got my 3DS from America, and apart from me forgetting that it would have an American charger and that I would need a power adaptor, or just buy an Australian charger, what are all the general other problems that come with having a US 3DS... as far as I can tell it's just some online store problems and the aforementioned charger dealy. Is there anything else I should know about? _________________

Yeah tidyest solution is to get a local DSi or 3DS wall charger, plug converters can get pretty bulky. _________________

I'm not sure if we have a problem with the store or not. The last time I tried to buy something from the U.S store, it was happy to accept my credit card. Anyway Waka, I can't think of any other problems, except for the lack of any real warranty. _________________

Bah!
USB is the master race. It's just so versatile. You only need the one wall adapter and you can charge almost any gadget with a $2 cable. Plus you're not limited to wall outlets. You can charge from a PC, laptop, car cigarette ports (with another $2 adapter) or portable battery pack (such as this one here, which can fully charge a 3DS without needing recharging, plus it can also charge old DSes, PSPs, iPods, Zunes, anything - comes with the Esposch seal of approval).
Plus, USB is exactly the same in every country in the world. It's brilliant! _________________

Wouldn't you need a USB adaptor for the 3DS though? _________________

According to the folks over at 3ds blog, the street date for OoT will be broken tomorrow by eb and game though you may need to ask at the counter. Some pretty wild rumors do make it to their fro.nt page so take it with a grain of salt. _________________

Game Traders are selling it, GAME are selling it, and though EB hasn't 'confirmed' they're selling it, they've implied they'll sell it tomorrow (when their shipment comes in) if you ask at the counter. No stock on shelves for EB as they likely dont want to get in too much shit, which Game Traders will. _________________

I suspected it might have something to do with gametraders, it's a dick move on their part but if it encourages Nintendo Australia to be less tardy with big releases the rest of the world gets weeks or even months in advance, then I'm all for it. _________________

I am not sure why they wants to break the street date cause they might get into trouble... Oh well, it's not like it's my company so I don't care about it... I just want my game

EB Games at Tuggerah are not selling The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D today.
They don't even have stock of it. >.<
EDIT: Queensland folk, check your EB's.
North Lakes EB is selling it. _________________

It begins.
I don't think my local will have it today either, but they did say that if their shipment happens to arrive they'll sell it. _________________
