Ep 9 was outrageous, can't wait to see what happens although dreading the inevitable cliffhanger 
I hesitate to ask... how long till season 2?

Final episode was exceptionally well done. I was wondering how the first season would close off (been 15 years since I read the first book), but it finished up each of plot paths well.

Is it just me or would the final scene make an awesome wallpaper . I loved the ending and it left me wanting more. Hopefully the blu ray has some bonus content .

Ep 10 was the best of the season. I'm amazed how my opinions on certain characters has changed over the course of the season. Tyrion especially, he seems to sympathise with the Starks, and him and Tywin both seem to be against Joffery and his actions in Ep 9. Everyone is against Joffery now.

So I watched the first episode and I'm not sure if I like it. I have the next two downloaded so I'll definitely watch more, but does it get better? If not, I can't see myself watching too much more :\

The first episode has the problem that it's doing a lot of setting up without really advancing the story. Things start to kick in by the end of the second episode, however.

Finished watching the finale. Loved it, the ending was epic. Man the wait for next season is gonna be hard.

Spoilers and blah for the final episode.
I'm going to reiterate my original sentiments, Dinearys (sp?) is the coolest character in this show, and the final episode has cemented this fact in my head, it's just such a downer that I imagine she'll play out as the "bad guy" when she's the only one I want ruling the Seven Kingdoms.

So I watched the first three episodes, and I'm just not compelled to keep watching. It's an alright show and everything, it just isn't that great. Maybe one day when I'm extremely bored.
EDIT: Actually, my girlfriend started watching it, so I'm gonna keep watching it just so we can discuss it  (not to mention I'm still not capped, so unlimited downloading wewt )

It is a slow burner, i find with slow burners you tend to really like the characters in the end because you really know them! I would stick with it because it really gets EPIC later down the track.

Yeah i read that in my foxtel mag, thing is its already aired in the uk so "hopefully" it comes there soon. Its good the blu ray region for uk is the same as australia ;D.
EDIT: Just saw HBO stance on region locking blu rays and it says 95% region free so hopefully....

Also HBO's Region A (US) Blu-Rays come in much fancier packaging than our local Region B releases. Important information. If you care about that stuff. I do.
Great, great, great final episode. Emilia Clarke is Dany. I got goosebumps every time she went into full I AM THE DRAGON mode, that final badass speech being the cream of the crop. I was anticipating that final scene since the pilot episode and it did not disppoint.
