Did anyone else receive a system update today?
Also, it doesn't look like the eshop has been updated... which is a shame. I thought Nintendo was really going to do things differently this time. _________________

You would have to assume the 3DS will come into line with Wii U's *new* online infrastructure at some point. I don't expect it to be any good until then (if at all).
I can't believe we have to wait till June 30 for OoT when Europe gets it tomorrow. What a joke, i think I'm just going to import it. _________________ Shin J Leon.

apparently it was supposed to fix the problems people had with ridge racer.
I'm still pretty disappointed that nothing new has been added to the store.. Does anyone know if they're going to have set dates for the store updates? _________________

Anyone else noticing jarring static in the charts section of the 3DS eShop?
Apparently some folks at the 3DS forums have discovered it, but it doesn't seem to be the same in every case.

I tried to Add Funds to my account - have a US system but using a Visa debit card. Previously, I added $20 when the patch first came out but am down to $2 so went to add $5 [then later tried $10] only to be told I could not charge the card. It's not a case of having insufficient funds so wondering if it's a problem with their server or what. Postcode is set to a US one (since it's for the US shop) but that's different to billing card one obviously. Hmm. Not sure what to do.
And are we getting/do we have 3DS points cards here and would they work for the US store?

To be honest, I couldn't stand enough to the elevator music loop to have made it into the charts section without the volume muted, but now that you point it out I can confirm that I'm hearing it. Though it's quite subtle on my system and not really jarring.
I also have to add, the eShop is getting really cluttered. _________________

So I'm thinking about buying a 3DS soon, but I have a couple of concerns. One is the battery life, is it decent? I'm fine with putting it in its charger whenever I'm not playing, and I doubt I'd ever be away from a wall for more than a few hours, but charging it often doesn't ruin the battery does it? And by how much does the 3D effect lower the battery/effect the frame rate? I'd hate to have to turn it off because it ruins the frame rate, like in OoT or the new MGS.

Went to supanova today and my streetpass plaza mii count went from 33 to 90ish... I'm kinda disappointed that I finished the puzzle thing though. I liked it more than the hats. _________________

That's a good question.I wonder if Nintendo plan to evolve Street Passs games.
Reading all the review of OoT makes me want it bad. Only a week and a bit to go for us, still a painful wait. I hope they do a MM port in the same light as well. _________________ Shin J Leon.

i'm so torn about OoT. I finished it and loved it in 1998, but I'm not really a 'replayer' of single-player games/campaigns. I'm thinking I would've forgotten a lot of it but I'm not sure.
on another note, has anyone heard whether the preorder ocarina is any good? _________________ WII CODE: 5880 0837 7756 4228

I was almost expecting some new hats/pictures to come with the eshop update, but alas. I do hope that they don't leave them sitting on the shelf for too long though, Streetpass is a great feature but it only works when people have a reason to carry around their 3DS. _________________

This one has Master Quest mode! Unfortunately only accessible after beating the main game... _________________

yeah if it was master quest from the beginning I'm pretty sure I'd pick this up. I know for a fact I won't play through again after finishing standard quest.
Link's awakening is currently giving me a zelda fix.
But I want the pre-order ocarina.
