Unlike the games that add Pokémon to your Pokédex when you encounter them in the wild or in battles, Pokédex 3D forces you to be a little more patient in your search to fully complete it.
Each day, Nintendo will send you up to three new Pokémon to add to your Pokédex via SpotPass. If you’re a little less patient about waiting, you can always play with your system’s clock to get more Pokemon a day, or you can have a friend send them to you via local wi-fi.
The Pokémon you get via SpotPass are random, so you’ll just have to be patient until you get all of them. Each Pokémon also comes with its own AR marker that you can use to take pictures of them via the 3DS’ augmented reality functions. You can even print them out or draw them with a marker on a piece of paper if you want to “capture” them in the real world.
And, if you want to speed up your chances of getting your favorite Pokémon into your Pokédex, simply scan their codes below to ensure you get them next. Note that if you scan all the codes in at the same time, it’ll defeat this purpose.

Just remember to take photos too (don't need to save them) so you can fill up your sticker book.
Also, collecting a sticker of a Pokémon will increase your chance of obtaining that Pokémon the next time you get a SpotPass update. _________________

I hate the interface with this title. It's really nasty. _________________ Shin J Leon.

The only pokemon-related game i've ever been into (or understood) was pokemon snap, so this pokedex makes absolutely no sense to me.
What am I meant to be doing with it? Is it an actual game? _________________ WII CODE: 5880 0837 7756 4228

No, it's just information about the Pokemon in Pokemon Black/White. _________________

It's literally a pokedex. I agree with the interface though, it's not very intuitive at all. _________________

I went in, wanted to make a 3D Pokemon appear on my cat while he was sleeping... got no idea how to make that happen. _________________

Draw one of the symbols from the first post on a sheet of paper and put that on your cat. _________________

So i found this program that scrolls down every single pokemon you can add. Pretty handy IMO http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JNSYN5HQ

Yeah the update for the 3ds i had to fiddle with my router to make sure ports were open to get the update. It was annoying as hell but i got it... _________________
