So I managed to finish season 3, 4, all the extra episodes and the pilot for 5 in 6 days. Ten was amazing, it was sad to see him go. It's so strange to be watching it now, and for everything from the past seasons to be pretty much gone, I think it'll take a few episodes to get used to. I would've loved David Tennant to get a season or two more, but I guess it was probably time for a new Doctor. Matt seems great though, more funny than David was which is a plus. As long as the show stays as good as it has been, then I'll keep watching it.

Also, Steven Moffat is amazing.

Just finished watching the 4th episode.

That was a fantastic episode much better than the last weeks pirate ep.

All the scenes with The Doctor and Sexy were wonderful.

Next weeks 2 parter looks good.

Have to say River Song has been my least favourite companion-type character. Always so self-assured and touching the Doctor's Tardis, no, none for you! Didn't guess her as Amy's daughter. Finding that out as Amy, I might have asked to go back in time and be pushed down a flight of stairs, but that's just me.
I really liked 'The Doctor's Wife' episode, with the Tardis able to communicate and asking to be called 'sexy'. The Doctor being such a gentleman but always so lonely, I like the thought of him having another ageless being with an actual personality (though sadly without a voice), rather than just a flying blue box (even though that's awesome in it's own right).

Adric did get an excellent redemption in his last story, though.

River Song reminds me a lot of Romana, in that she's that rare Doctor Who companion who can match the Doctor intellectually.

Wasn't that a great ending? It's all leading up to that moment I've been waiting for for so long. One theory I read last week was that when the Doctor dropped the Pond's off in the last episode, that was before the first episode of season 6. I'm still not entirely sure if that's possible? The whole timeline of season 6 is so confusing, huge credit to the writers to be able to make sense of it all.
