There's a menu setting you may have missed in the game to switch those Sega Rally-esque easy, medium and hard co-driver calls back to the six numbered degrees of cornering you're familiar with (well 5 + 'hairpin').
If that was your tiny complaint, is it worthy of a 10 now?

Racing games are definitely my favourites, but TOCA 2 on PC was the last good game Codemasters made... everything since has been too arcadey. I think CM are way overrated. I haven't played this game (and don't intend to), Dirt 1 and 2 were crap IMO. I wish somebody would make a sequel to Richard Burns Rally.

i have seen your times, i believe this..
one thing that pisses me off about this game and the new trend in trying to stiff second hand sales, the code gives you 5 other cars....so when i play it on the xbox out in the lounge, the game is gimped even though i bought it _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. The license is a download that is strapped to the other machine...
I don't imagine cloud saving would help this either. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Yep, sure have... love it!
Race 07 and sequels/add ons is the best racing game available IMHO.

Ok i am going to have a little rant here...
Been thinking about the code dealio, now i *mildly* understand that they want a cut of the second hand games market, so ea and codemasters evidently put in these codes for online play. Dirt 3 has taken one step further by removing vehicles from the game without the code. Why exactly penalise people who dont have an internet connection is quite frankly beyond me.
I grew up with codemasters and they flew in the face of the industry at the time, they went directly up against mastertronic in the cheap game market. Mastertronic put out any old crap, codemasters was quality, from bmx simulator through to dirt 3, i have literally grown up with them....
Anyway this was going to be an email to them asking why they gimp people without an internet connection and shaking my head in dismay, but as i try to go to their website, i discover it was hacked a couple of days ago and was offline, hmmmm.
My name is darryl kerrigan and that was my story.
Sorry but that appears to annoy me, dirt 3 no seem as good after i wonder about the gimp.
I sent them an email imploring them not to gimp any future single player components, bet they really care about that though _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Boought this off Steam, WW @ 1080p 60FPS on high detail PC. Next gen is here, now.
Sucks the cars dont work when no internet connection, mine was down on the weekend and I was rage. Why do this? Do they know this just drives us to cracked torrents? Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Staying legit should not suck more than being a pirate I hope everyone buys The Witcher 2 off GOG to support this brilliant move. _________________

Wow, completely missed that. Cheers!
Nah it's definitely not a ten. I mentioned a few other complaints in there, but it's still the best racer I've played in a long time. _________________
