Nice to see Nintendo continuing their trend of being the most incompetant online company in the world. |
Don't worry Jarrod-kun, the trailers that our glorious NTSC master race wasn't that great. You had to download an app to watch it (as in each video was one app); you couldn't stream it or anything logical like that.
Also, you can't adjust the 3D and some of them are uncomfortable to watch. _________________

I agree with the price thing. $6 for Mario Land is a complete RIP. It should be no more then $2 AU considering what you can get for 99c around the traps. Link's Awakening is better value though. Maybe.
I hope they do add a bunch of NES remastered titles and GBA. Excitebike is a pile of crap game but I like the remastered look of it. If they do that for Zelda 1+2 and Super Mario Bros I'll be happy to re-buy them.
I find the interface itself not too bad. It's better then the PSN Store IMO (I hate that interface). _________________ Shin J Leon.

For those of us with U.S 3DS consoles, life is good! Link's Awakening is only $6, I snapped it up. I made an interesting discovery, the U.S eShop will accept Australian credit cards, as long as you provide a U.S zip code (I used the one for the city of Garfield, in Georgia). There's a nice selection of DSiWare classics available. _________________

So it's been confirmed that Mario Kart 3DS is being co-developed by Nintendo and Retro. I've suddenly got even higher hopes for it.

Well, at least I mentioned the reduced price of Zelda. My post still has value! _________________

Actually a lot of places restrict the use of soon to expire credit cards, that's why banks generally send out your new card a month in advance. _________________

I just wish the d-pad was better, it's horrible for fighters like SSFIV and DOA... _________________

Dead Or Alive Dimensions has its classification revoked.
Apparently because you can see the underwear of an underage chick, the game violates the moral standards that this country has set itself and, as such, needs to be taken off the shelves.
Nevermind the fact you can see underage girls wearing way less than what the characters in the game wear every day of the week.
Seriously, what the fuck Australia? _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

Just got Shantae. Haven't played much so far, but I can confirm that holding down select boots DSiWare games in their native resolution in the same way that it works for cartridges. _________________

Apparently, Super Mario 3DS will have a Zelda themed level.
| Quote: | | The stage, which is in a top down perspective reminiscent of the Link to the Past view, will see Mario dodging various classic Zelda obstacles and solving puzzles in many rooms. |
Also, there appear to be Metroids in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

d-pad on the 3DS is in a horride position making the L-button unusable.
Developers should be doing 3D up front and then 2D should not be different. DOA really pissed me off with the performance difference. Basically 3D isn't an option due to the framerate. Glad to see Tekken will be the same with both though. _________________ Shin J Leon.

Do you have small hands or something? I've played hours of Excitebike and Shantae like that with no problems at all. _________________

Has anybody been able to buy points? I tried a VISA gift card I own, and it was rejected. I tried my houesmate's credit card, and it too was rejected. _________________

Used my credit card 2 days ago and slapped $30 on my account. Bought PvZ with no issues.
Not sure if it's just today that the servers are down or not.
Currently debating whether to get Rytmik or not. As I don't have an iPhone/Pad or other similar device where I can sample and mix tracks, I thought this may be alright. Little pricey though and from the youtube vids I watched, it looks slightly unwieldy.
Or I could just buy Zelda.

It worked fine for me (actual card, not gift card)
I've got a US system, too.
I think the problem with gift cards is that they don't have an address registered to them, so Nintendo can't verify the zip code.
Maybe check online or contact Visa or someone to see if you can add an address to it. Or see if you can purchase something in an actual store and then have it refunded to your proper Visa card.
If not, an actual card definitely works. Just make sure you enter your real postcode with a 0 out the front (e.g. I used "03180") rather than the fake one you gave Nintendo. They're checking the card's address, not your Nintendo account's. _________________

I would have pre-order it from UK if there is any pre-order bonus, but sadly there is no bonus. So this time, I pre-ordered it from EB Games.
