Ridiculous comeback by Dallas. I almost switched off when they were about 15 down. I thought they needed to win game 2 to be in the series.
The League Pass is excellent. Well worth it if you have the bandwidth to spare - each game is about 1.5gb on the second-highest setting.

Was a great game.
Got to say though, Miami threw it away as much as Dallas won it.
Still, it's going to give them all the momentum ahead of 3 games on their home court. _________________

I said this is over when it got to 15 points, unbelieveable come back, but Miami started to look like the Cavs with some of the plays Lebron was making.
Game 3 hurts tho, starting to think it will be too hard for Dallas to pull it off. _________________

Dallas goes up 3-2! Two games left, both in Miami, and unlike last year between Boston-Lakers, the Mavs have what it takes to at least win one of those two to take the series.
James has gone cold in the fourth quarter almost every game this series, and yet he had a triple double in this one. Dirk, right now, is the series MVP unless Miami cleans them up behind Wade in two straight, and I can't see that happening right now.

Well well well..
Despite LeBrons triple double, he continues to support the theory that he isn't a clutch player, despite doing everything he could to show us otherwise against chicago.
For Miami to win, they need the ball in D Wades hands late in the game when things get tight. Proven performer in the biggest of moments.
That said, I'm more than happy for them to keep relying on LeBron, and for him to keep failing. Gogo Dallas! _________________

The problem is, Wade failed in his attempts more often that not in the past two games towards the end, largely because they either try to play the team game and lose the ball, or Dallas up the D and force Wade into a long range jump shot instead of a drive. Plus, he's struggling with an injury just that little bit.

I asked LeBron for a dollar but he only gave me 75 cents.

Dallas are the champs! Though I'm not a supporter, I couldn't be happier for Kidd and Dirk, two of the nicest players in the NBA today. Brilliant stuff, Mavs.

We have your 2011 NBA Champs! I much prefer Dallas winning the championship than the "bought" roster of the Miami Heat.
Dirk and Kidd after being so long in the league definitely deserves this. _________________

Being a Spurs fan, I never thought I'd cheer for the Mavs, but to get my Flava Flav on... I just want to express my feelings for the Heat losing...

Jason Kidd, Shawn "The Matrix" Marion and Dirk Nowitski all deserve the praise for the plays they made. Marion in particular was playing excellent defense against LeBron for most of the final two games. And Kidd's still got it. It's fitting for him to have won. _________________

The best thing for me is Miami was the team that didn't need all of it's stars to get it done. Yet when Wade wasn't scoring, Miami had no one else to pick them up. When Dirk was missing his whole team lifted.
Then at the end they need him to finish it off and he says 'yes please.'
Champion of the game getting his reward.
But really what a fantastic series, so many back and forth games, and every time a big bucket was need Dallas hit it. _________________

It was pretty surreal that by the 4th quarter, Miami's hopes pretty much rested on Bosh... and they still ignored him and kept throwing brick threes.
Anyway, glad for JET, Dirk, Kidd and Matrix.

I felt that way too. Bosh played some really great defense and offense. But they got sloppy with the three's and argh just went to hell from there

NBA is nearly here! Anyone else excited? This'll be my second year following the NBA so I'm still not completely familiar with all the players and teams. I gotta pick a side to barrack for! I had hoped to buy the league pass on NBA.com, but my stupid car decided to shit itself and I can't spare the cash. We have pay TV so I'll be able to watch whatever ESPN is showing. Sadly there will be no games on One HD this year because they no longer have the rights.

It's crazy how many good players the Clippers acquired...CP3, Billups AND Caron Butler? Real eager to see how they'll go this year.
I don't see Dallas repeating honestly, losing Chandler meant losing their paint presence. I don't think Odom can fill that void.
Anyway, I'm on Team Durant, and I got the free 2-week NBA.TV pass (sign up if you haven't already!). Bring on Xmas Day!!! _________________

It will be interesting to see how the Clippers go. Paul stepped up in the final quarter today, but the game was closer than the final score. I quite like the Clippers though.
Miami was entertaining. I know everyone hates on the Heat, but their games are usually enjoyable to watch.
The Knicks v Celtics game was probably my favourite, followed by the Bulls v Lakers. That shot by Rose was fantastic. Kobe had a bit of an ego moment in the dying seconds.
My favourite moment of the entire day, however, goes to Baron Davis having a go at Garnett. Oh and this.

For those who don't have League Pass have a look at this. http://nbadimensions.net/forums/nba-forum/40131-dont-buy-league-pass.html
I already paid for the official thing, but for $7..
Seeing LAL and Dallas struggle early, gonna be an interesting season I think. Miami to dominate through the season with OKC and Chicago not far behind. Heaps of highlights from the Clippers, and with the tight schedule a lot of upsets you would think.
Champs: OKC
Runners Up: Chicago _________________

Yeah go "Linsanity", maybe he could bring some respectability to the Knicks, last 2 games very impressive.
First US born Chinese, showing it how it's done. _________________

I think I've chosen my dark house. Minnesota are right on the cusp of a playoff spot, and playing really well compared to last year.

A friend of mine met him and hung out w/ him for a while... he was acting like a complete dick the whole time apparently. I'm happy for him though, first US born Chinese guy doing really well and showing that Asians who aren't 7' 6'' can also do well in the NBA.
The problem w/ the Knicks is the lack of a distributing PG. Lin seems to be doing a good job with this opportunity. Shumpert who started before him wasn't really a PG and it showed in the Knicks offense where they only managed 69 pts last week and have been terrible defensively. The whole D'Antoni system relies on a good PG which is why he succeeded in Phoenix with Steve Nash.
Rubio will probably win rookie of the year over Irving (who I hope will play for Australia since he was actually born here) and the T-Wolves have a good chance at making the playoffs since the West is wide open atm.
As for predictions, Chicago will probably come out of the East and the West is looking at either OKC or the Clippers (i'd love to say the Spurs but we just can't win on the road to save our lives). _________________
