So it's the Nintendo WiiU.

They're banking on the name being a success, make sense.

No details on the console itself, largely the controller. Thankfully for me, it seems to be an alternative function (i.e. you can play games with a wii remote if you're so inclined.)

No real titles announced from Nintendo, which is surprising, and yet not. They're holding out for their own conference in Japan later in the year, probably. However, titles confirmed in development include: Arkham City, Dirt, Tekken, Ghost Recon Online and Darksiders II, plus support from EA (possibly Battlefield 3.)

Wii U? Am I the only one feeling uninspired or underwhelmed or will I smile a little more when I hear more about the hardware, ie. specs?

Also, I hope we can still use GameCube controllers, somehow?

As for this game disc. It's been confirmed to be 25GB (probably make bigger ones in the future).

Assassin's Creed on the Wii U caught my attention.

I can see alot of dropped and broken screens coming from the Wii U controller.

Does that mean it'll come to 3DS too? I'll be very disappointed if it doesn't.

It doesn't give us any realistic indication on how it compares to the 360/PS3. Tech demos always look miles better than the actual games.

Not necessarily. The Gamecube/PS2 tech demos ended up looking worse than some of the actual games that came out for the system. So did the PS3's Final Fantasy VII demo.

So it's not as good? It looks about on par with what you'd expect from like a god of war game or something on the PS3.

It really isn't.
Go look up some pics and you'll see.

EDIT:
Apparently the actual on-screen footage is only ~PS3/360 level, it's just a good screenshot. (they can see stuff like Link's boots being textured on that are not as apparent in the screenshot)

Which means you're right, Benza, it is pretty much a PS3 game.
