Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Collector's Edition announced

"Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Collector's Edition comes with a whole bunch of goodies. For $99.99, you get the game, a Sideshow Collectibles Nathan Drake Statue, a replica of Drake's belt buckle, a replica of Drake's ring/necklace, and a "Steelbook" game case. All of that is put in a "Traveling Chest" that I'm told has no relation to the Traveling Pants."

I really hope we get this here, cause I've always wanted a Nathan Drake figure and its a damn impressive CE.

I'll pass. I have enough things lying around my room as it is! I've never really bothered with collector's editions, though I can understand the appeal. As someone who collected game figures for a few years, I guess I just got tired of them. They just sit there...

I have had enought of CE's, really if they were an incentive to early preorders/takers at no extra cost, sure.

Seriously though, this will cost you, what, $70 above RRP for what? Some lame packagaing, a useless ring etc? Just buy the figurine......

(just my opinion....... maybe Im jaded but all my CEs pretty much now sit at the back of the cupboard and I wish I could get all that extra money back and go on a holiday instead or something........).

I bought my first CE the other day and i don't even look at the extra stuff.....And the big box just hogs up shelf space. I think I'll give it a miss.

Actually yeah I got AC2 White Edition and my Ezio model just sits in my wardrobe, never seeing the light of day. Not worth the extra money.

That statue looks more like Nathan Fillion than Dake.

With that said I'd grab it if I had more space in my room.

As I said in the other thread, I'm preordering this regardless of price.

I loved Dakes Fortune so much that the collectors edition is a MUST. The Belt buckle and necklace will help me finish my long delayed Dake cosplay outfit too, which I know you're all dying to see

My only concern with this game is the setting, looking at the Collectors edition, the background, with the exception of the burning plane wreck looks a bit bland, it could do with some temples, or trees, or, anything to break up the sand, but that's my only complaint.

BRING IT ON!!

Oh and Dake totally looks like Daniel Craig in statue form.

HOT!!
