If anyone recognises the song, you're officially a PALGN legend in my eyes.
Also, not a fan of the new look... _________________

I agree with shadow wave. I'll bet you any money that if this is rated and we don't have R18+ we will be guaranteed to have it RC (banned).

The first one was overrated but I have a soft spot for it and it still has one of the most shocking moments ive seen in a game, this is actually looking great (but even more violent lol not sure how I feel about *that*), but they need to tighten up the gameplay a bit this time. _________________

Wow, I was really hoping that this would get shown during E3! It looks like they took the first game and turned the violence up a notch, but it's pretty awesome. So far, I definitely want it. Get us an R18+ rating, stat! _________________

Ok so the game is called The Darkness, yet you change the art style to colourful cell shaded, mmm good job there. I wish Starbreeze was making this, I bet it wouldn't look like this... _________________ "Gentlemen we just seized an airfield... That was pretty f***ing ninja."

Uhm it doesn't look much brighter than the last game at all, and whats wrong with a bit of colour anyway? It makes moments more memorable if you can actually see things. It still looks pretty gloomy and shadowy to me. _________________

It's not cel-shaded, it just has a non-realistic art style. Don't make me get Benza in here. _________________

It's not completely cell shaded, but its somewhere in between....not sure I like it. In fact I don't, and now I'm worried for this :/.
The first one is easily one of my favourite games of all time, mostly for its story. If they can pull off the story and writing then I'd forgive it. _________________

There's a shader there that's giving a bit of an outline similar to cel-shading, but it's definitely not cel-shaded especially if you pay attention to the lighting and a good portion of the specularity.
I'm really not seeing a problem with its look. I loved the first Darkness but also thought it was just a 'tad' too dark in its visuals, so it's nice to see more vibrant use of colour here.
More colour = better as long as it's used tastefully. _________________

You guys understand the source material, right?
EDIT: And a recent interior. It's hard finding a page with no swearing on it (violence in trailers, yay, but swearing, GTFO).

Oh boy, here we go.
I'm a bit skeptical about the Darkness II. I didn't know that it wasn't being developed by Starbreeze so that's a bit worrying because I thought they did a brilliant job with the first game.
