Y'know, I hate to say it, but after they remodelled Harley Quinn's already sexualised outfit to increase the visible cleavage, and they've now done the same to Catwoman...
This really is coming across as the major weak point in the Rocksteady Batman games. :-/ Don't get me wrong, it's not the worst problem, but it is somewhat disturbing that they don't seem to be able to create interesting female costume designs that don't feature low-cut tops.

Each to their own, I don't mind the look of the PS3 controller but I wouldn't buy it due to the placement of the analogue stick. I'll take a Dualshock3 over the 360 controller any day, the 360 controller just doesn't feel or sit right in the hands. _________________

I haven't seen the Harley one so I wont comment... but you're complaining that they sexualised catwoman? Are you serious?
Catwoman? The character that had her covers drawn by Adam hughes (For those playing at home he's a sexy time pin up artist) in her solo book?
Catwoman?
For point of refrence, This is Catwoman
This is the catwoman you're upset that they over sexualised?

That said, some acknowledgement of ignorance is worthwhile. It seems more recent comic book interpretations had done the cleavage thing more than previously, so the blame is there, not on Rocksteady.
For what it's worth, this is the kind of Catwoman I'd imagined.

haha wow man, catwoman hasn't looked like that in like... 10- 15 years.

I'm still not sure what you're getting at. I haven't seen the new Harley design so I don't have anything to say about it. They added cleavage I'm guessing? She's always been kind of a **** though so eh. _________________

Basically, yeah. I'm saying that I was stating that:
1. Catwoman and Harley Quinn have always been sexualised figures;
2. Arkham Aslyum raised the stakes on Harley by increasing her cleavage (She went from somewhat demure to overtly sexual.
3. I thought Catwoman had gone the same path
4. Turns out she had, but the comics had done that for me.
5. That old timey Catwoman will always be Catwoman to me.

The argument is a little redundant considering almost every female character bar, say, Princess Peach, has been sexualised in the last ten years or more. *shrugs* just saying.

I don't care what you guys think. Big boobies, cleavage and a black skin tight leather suit are fine in my book. Also, did I forget to mention that I like boobies? Well, I do.
As for the outfit Harley Quinn wore in Batman: Arkham Asylum in comparison to her original outfit from Batman: The Animated Series, I for one was happy to see that the artists at Rocksteady decided to go with a more mature look for the character. Upon release, Batman: Arkham Asylum was the most dark and mature installment I had played from the long line of Batman video games.
If the character doesn't look the part giving the situation, themes and plot of the story, then the audience will look upon the character as being a 'miscast' and the experience is not thoroughly enjoyed. _________________

Would it be politically incorrect of me to meow at Catwoman?
FYI: I was more impressed by her ass! _________________

Do we get to play as Catwoman as well then?
Also is this going to be like a sandbox game? It seems more open and it is called "arkham city"... _________________

Looks like it. It is going to be more open that Asylum too. Just don't expect it to be quite as open as GTA. _________________

i don't know that it was AA that up'd the stakes on Harley - simply the translation from cartoon to comic increased her sexuality. and i think it's a by-product of her origin (not her origin story). she was a character exclusive to the cartoon world who was shifted to the comics, and official canon. it also meant a general audience shift for the character - as the comics are still designed to appeal to a younger audience than the comics, and then the game, was meant to - as ZNMS says.
and if you really want to see Harley sexualised, check out the Joker book by Brian Azzarello. she still wears the same costume, essentially, as her original comic version... most of the time anyway... _________________
