just wondering how well amazon.uk prices stack ? i mean with the exchange rate of the $ vs pound / euro i cant see it working out better off then the US all that often ?

Depends what you're after, I guess. DVDs/Blurays are generally a hell of a lot cheaper from UK Amazon. Add to that the free shipping if you spend more than 25GBP, and you should save a whole lot...

blu rays stricliy speaking , if you order alot of things on the US side in one go it rounds about $25 , problem being is i find alot of things lose out by $4 due to pound hence the items being cheaper , can you provide some examples ?

JB Hifi have an interesting deal at the moment...

Buy any Bluray player and get 50% off any bluray title, max 30 per customer. This includes box sets.

Not sure if this includes the standard players, but if so...

There are two bluray players they sell for $99. If you go halves with a friend (or thirds or fourths, etc) this is an amazing deal, seeing as you'll be saving over $50 on some of the more expensive sets. And if you buy a bunch of titles, it's even worth throwing the $99 extra down on your own!

If not... if you click on Portable Players on this page http://www.jbhifi.com.au/ it brings up a list of DVD players, cheapest of which is $89...

It's all a bit confusing. Possibly great savings to be had.

Just went into JB today and discovered that they've got a new 2 for $30 deal on a bunch of Blu-Rays, some pretty decent ones there as well that are all $15.98 individually. The big shock for me was seeing that they somehow have the first three seasons of Heroes included in the deal, I don't think I've ever seen any complete TV series at that price before:
