ozgame is out of stock. I found some at blahdvd for $45, when they extract the vat.
Just making sure it is the cheapest. Oh, and what are the chances of the game getting seized?
I stopped playing Mortal Kombat since the SNES days, but a friend wants the new game badly.
I prefer jiggle physics over gore when it comes to fighting games.

$2 Dollars for 2 Months of Xbox Live Gold Membership. Debit or credit card required as the deal is done through the Xbox Dashboard in the "Spotlight" tab.
The deal also only appears if you're a Silver member; however, I used the two control trick to extend my current 12 month Prepaid membership (which would have ended in December of this year) to February of 2012. I can confirm it stacks on existing bought Gold memberships.
http://www.ecogamer.com.au/content/116-marketplace-special/4709-xbox-live-2-months-for-2#comments
^There is a link on this page for instructions for the two control trick.
Remember to call Microsoft up (a royal pain) to cancel auto renewal if you don't plan on continuing Gold or if you want to switch to pre-paid codes instead. _________________

Not bad for God of War 3 if you want to buy local.
If I use a pre-paid credit card for the $2 Xbox Live offers will they get mad if they can't charge me after the 2 months has ended? I can remember they once suspended my account for something similar...

I think they caught on to people using pre-paid credit cards and as a (very questionable) response, they continue to charge that specific profile's account until that person chooses to reactivate Gold again on that profile. When they try to do so, they find a nasty surprise in the form of apparently "overdue" payments. Basically they screw you over because if you don't want to pay, you have to start a new profile, losing all gamerscore, downloaded things, etc, which most people wouldn't want to do. I hate Microsoft sometimes... if it wasn't for the games...
But yeah only way to get around not paying renewal prices is calling up and asking them to cancel your billing info. Pain, I know. I've done it before and it took me 10 minutes but I've heard horror stories for others taking up to an hour. Still... $2 for 2 Months is $2 for 2 Months.
By the way I think the promotion offer ends tomorrow or the day after, so best be quick. _________________

GAME must be starting a sale or something. Guy there said they were starting to mark more stuff down and pre-owned under $70 were 'buy one, get the second for 1/2 price'. Picked up Truth or Lies PS3 for $10 new. Pretty sure the game is balls, but it comes with 2 singstar mics.
JBs have 2 for $40, which I think was mentioned earlier in the thread. It's mostly platinum stuff, but they also had Bayonetta Climax Ed (PS3) and Dragon Ball Raging Blast Ltd Ed (360) which seem a decent pickup for $20 each.
*EDIT* Now that I think about it, I can't remember if the guy at Game said they were marking more stuff down, or if he was just referring to the pre-owned stuff for the deal. Damn my fuzzy brain _________________

Its not a charge it should disappear in a few days. It is to check that the card details aren't bogus. _________________

Hi All,
For those who haven't noticed, there's a new monthly specials page for X360 arcade games found with the Deal of the Week. Not sure how long it will be there, but there's a few bargains to be had (Quake, Penny Arcade and others).

Foxtel sucks anyhoo, we've had it for over a decade, and I never watch anything on it apart from Two and a Half Men or Big Bang, which are on free-to-air anyhoo.
I keep trying to convince everyone else in the household that we should cancel our sub and save the $100 a week, but someone can't do without their wrestling and sports channels, harumph!
