My predictions from the big 3.
Nintendo: Start show with new DS Software, then 3DS (including new mario game), then announce Project Cafe and HD Zelda Skyward Sword as a launch title
Sony: Begin by talking about PSN outage and the steps taken to improve security, then talk about new PS3 software (new uncharted 3 and Twisted Metal gameplay), a surprise exclusive announcement and then NGP name, date and price reveal with launch catalog.
Microsoft: Begin with xbox live mobile news, gears 3 demo, updates to xbox firmware, then hulk hogan special appearance for his kinect game, then new hardcore kinect titles, then surprise exclusives announcements

I reckon that looks about right too, going off all the hype pre-E3.
Personally I hope to see an announcement from EA and Visceral regarding what they have in the pipeline, especially if it's a new IP.

Like seriously you are so on the money imo. We know we will hear major announcements from Nintendo with its new console and same with song with the NGP. It would be crazy for Microsoft not to have a MAJOR announcement.... I think it will also be a surprised exclusive but i can't for the life of me think what it will be.

I agree with most of this, though I think it will go more like;
Nintendo: Start with 3DS, push as much software as possible. Focus of the conference on 3DS, since sales have slumped. Move on to DS/Wii, to state that these systems still have life in them. New Zelda trailer, Last Story / Xenoblade confirmed for the US. Maybe another surprise Wii title. Very little DS software. Finish up with Cafe; controller, plans, some games, etc. No price or launch date.
Sony: PSN outage discussion, plans for the future. Some focus though quite brief as they dont want to dwell on a negative. PS3 software (Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, etc), a couple of surprises (Sly 4, special exclusive), and a big push for more Move software. Maybe something from EA, like the first Mass Effect 3 stage demo, since EA are in bed with Sony at the moment. Finish up on the PSP2, including pricing, launch date, and demos/trailers for software from both first and third party. Lots of stuff.
Microsoft: Gears 3 and Modern Warfare 3 demos, probably opening with the latter. Kinect stuff, though with more focus on 'hardcore' Kinect games, most of which are already announced games with Kinect support. New stuff from Rare. A surprise or two, possibly Rising shown again. New stuff for LIVE. Finish with one surprise announcement nobody expected.
I think both Sony and Microsoft will still push 3D/motion tech very hard. Microsoft especially will push Kinect, as both Sony and Nintendo have new hardware. PSP2 will have a HUGE blowout, basically everything you want or need to know. Price might be surprising. Nintendo wont dwell too long on the Wii/DS. They'll have a couple of things, but mostly focus on the 3DS since that's their new baby. Tons of software for that one. Cafe will get a bigger push than most probably expect.

I highly doubt the PSP2 will have a price announced. Sony will hold on to that for as long as possible. I can't see how that unit can be cheap. These rumours about knocking off memory for the base unit is very disturbing also. PSP2 is a very interesting device and I'm dying to see how it turns out and sells.
Sony has already won the 'games' of the year for exclsuive games PS3-wise so I don't think M$ will care all that much. There probably seeing this as their 'off' year. Having said that Gears 3 will sell the most of an exclusive title on any console this holiday I think.
I think Patchter is right about M$. I think they will focus on promoting Live and new features (not for us). I think M$'s plan is to have a crazy rich and massive options for users. They are trying to try the 360 into the online media hub in the home (no doubt to roll into the next console). I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't too many big game announcements from them this year. They have the COD monopoly and it generates the massive Live subscriber base for them. Plus Gears (probably the reason they delayed it). I do get the feeling that M$ is rolling into the next generation and just doing 'enough' and they probably will drop the price again.
I also doubt Nintendo will delay Zelda until Project Cafe. I don't see it as a good fit for what they are trying to do with the cafe thing. It's really their big motion plus title and I really think it will launch as a Wii game. Nintendo does concern me with the new machine. They have done a cycle with all their big games lately (Mario, Zelda) so I hope they have something else cooking that's a massive launch game for it. Pikim 3 won't cut it.
I would love to see them launch something new and bold creating a new IP. (A big polished game, not a Luigi's mansion type of thing). Perhaps this Zelda Universe might be it...?

ASW have gotten back the Guilty Gear IP. If they're at E3, it's gonna be like a 70% chance that GG3 will be announced.

And then ASW regained the rights to it a while back, they filed a trademark in Japan for Guilty Gear a couple of months ago in Japan and in a recent interview Daisuke said that there would be a new Guilty Gear comming eventually.

Also to the guy who said he thought BG&E 2 had been anounced, it's had 1 trailer so far like 4 years ago and nothing since then (Except for what may or may not be a pre-rendered game play aims) I'm hoping we get more info. Even gameplay.

I disagree. I think it will be almost exactly the same situation as Twilight Princess. It's technically a Gamecube game, but they also released the "enhanced" Wii version with motion controls. I think we'll see Skyward Sword released as what is technically a Wii game, but it'll have enhanced features (improved graphics, maybe something to do with the new controller, better motion controls possibly) in the Cafe version. It makes sense from a marketing point of view as, like the Wii, it will give the Cafe a guaranteed to be decent launch title and give them extra sales since they are selling it across two platforms.

But the Wii basically is a slightly beefed up Gamecube, which made it a good fit for TP with motion based controls. Graphics-wise there wasn't much difference between the two.
But why would you want to promote your 'next-gen' console, which is probably as or more powerful then the PS3 with a game that's 2 generations behind? The game is waaayyy to far in development to go back and rework to be a true HD game.
If Nintendo did do this, which I highly doubt, they are mad.

For Nintendo, it's not two generations behind. You don't know how long they've been working on the Cafe, and even if they only started developing for it recently, they can still come out with an HD version. After all, the Wii version of Twilight Princess only began development a little over a year before it was released. Nintendo still have until at least April next year to produce an HD, Cafe version of Skyward Sword. No problem.

I hope Skyward Sword stays as far away from the Cafe as possible. I want them to get SS out at the end of the year, and focus on making a Cafe specific Zelda from that point on, one that takes full advantage of the hardware. Delaying Skyward Sword for another six months will eat into Cafe specific Zelda time, and that makes me a sad panda.
I want Smash Bros there. If Nintendo are serious about feature rich online games, then Smash is the one to do it. Brawl is still a gorgeous looking Wii game, so I can only imagine how a true 'HD' *cough* Smash would look. New characters and stages over online? Yes please.
New IP would be great. Maybe its time to give Retro the freedom to, you know, do their own thing.

The thing that worries me more than hipster hobo dante is that... Ninja Theroies combat has so far sucked. Heavenly Sword was god of war lite. Enslaved as much as I loved that game it sure as shit wasn't for the combat. I mean it wouldn't be that big of an issue in any game other than Devil May Cry
I have no doubt that this game is going to be balls... that said I'm still curious to see what comes out next. It's like watching a train wreck.

While I loved enslaved, Heavenly Sword was retarded. Thowing the hats at gongs is the dumbest shit I've ever had to do in a video game. JUST FUCKING TAKE THE HAT DOWN THE LADDER YOU DUMB CUNT!
So yeah 50/50 so far for me, but Devil May Cry is all about the combat and they have proved so far they can't do that.
