Does anyone know of any brick-and-mortar stores in Sydney that sell NBA merch (more so T-shirts than actual jerseys)? The NBA Store has a good selection, but the shipping is ridiculous. I'll poke around eBay in the meantime, but a brick-and-mortar store where you can try the stuff on would be good if anyone knows of one.
Also, I apologise if I've miscategorised this, I just put it here because it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else.
Thanks in advance! _________________

be wary of NBA merch on ebay. I've bought a few celtics snapbacks off different sellers in the last few months and some of them have been knock offs. Unfortunately the average buyer doesn't seem to know how to tell the difference so feedback isn't always the best indicator of whether or not they are legit products.
Don't know of any places in Sydney, but I do know that most of the Footlocker stores in Melbourne stock NBA stuff, might be worth checking out if there are any in your area. Only problem there is Footlocker pricing tends to be pretty steep (for shoes at least, never actually checked out the NBA stuff)

Rebel Sport usually has jerseys, but they're only really the most popular players (Kobe, KG, LeBron, Howard, etc) and they're about $100 generally.
I did buy a nice Celtics shirt from there for about $40 not long ago, though.

I usually love my vintage jersey's and shoes. I go to the one at kickz in Melbourne don't know if they deliver but here's their site http://www.kickz101.com.au/
Also if you have facebook go to:
http://www.facebook.com/vintagemarketplace1
I definitely know they deliver. _________________ axnx

Just had a relative get back from America who bought me a series of Lakers gear for probably half the price of what you'd spend here. Footlocker is the only real choice if you want to guarantee authenticity. _________________

Thanks for the links, guys.
I might poke around eBay some more, most places online that I've come across seem chronically deficient in OKC Thunder gear. _________________

I got a couple of jersey's off Ebay that are definitely the real deal, took a bit of reading on his feedback to convince me, but was the only way to get my Stoudemire jersey under $100.
He doesn't stock shirts though.
Still can't understand why NBA charge so much on postage, surely they want us to buy from them? _________________

I have one jersey, but it's a knockoff.
That's the issue when you like lesser-known players _________________

I remember in the 90's they were more readily available, Target had some pretty nifty knock off one's (i had one that was great but it took me awhile to GROW in it though as it was so large, my shoulders weren't big enough).
I havn't purchased any for some years, probably around 05/06 with Shaq in Miami.

That was back when the NBA was big here, now they are harder to get. If I wasn't so big I would've got someone when I was in the US recently as they were quite cheap for official ones but it's a shame that they trip to overcharge so much for postage if you order from Australia. They even used to have an NBA Store in Australia.
Eastbay seems to have cheap prices and cheap shipping rates (US$19.95 for 5 items) and they have a large range of NBA apparel

Another problem I've found is some teams have fkn dumb designs on their jerseys. I'm a Suns fan, and wear an S in NBA jerseys, but with theirs the shoulders are extra wide and hang off. When you watch their games you find most of the fans can't wear the jersey without a shirt on underneath. When you live in Perth you don't want to wear two layers. _________________

I was in Kickz 101 today. Picked up a Rondo figurine and a Celtics hat because I don't own a non-Western Bulldogs at the moment.
The hat was $65. Great quality, but man, it'd wanna last a few years.
