So... I got myself one of these the other day. The only thing is, I'm not sure what kind of power supply I'll need for it and I don't want to fry it by using the wrong one.
Anyone got one and can point me in the right direction?
Thanks! _________________ My Games Collection!

The Panasonic Q doesn't have a power-pack like a GameCube does. It's power-pack is built in, so it actually uses a cord (Japanese) like the ones you'd find on a Japanese PS3 Slim.

Make sure it's 240v compatible first, though. I don't think most Nintendo stuff is.
EDIT: A man of mystery who is known only by the alias "moteread01" told me that it's 110v only. If you plug the Panasonic into a wall with a standard cable, it will produce blue smoke and then explode (seriously).
Best to get a step down converter. _________________

Thanks, I'll be doing that next time I'm able to get into Dick Smith. _________________ My Games Collection!

my friend fried his dreamcast japanese dreamcast in a way similar to how you described.
i scored it + all his gear in the end though, so it worked out well for me. _________________ my video game collecting blog: http://keith.nallawalla.com/
