When people ask me what music I like, I reply with "The music you hate the most."

They usually say Death Metal. But sometimes it rap.

top ten would be in no particular order:

1. deicide - deicide
2. sepultura - chaos ad
3. pantera - cowboys from hell
4. danzig - 3
5. slayer - undisputed attitude
6. morbid angel - domination
7. cannibal corpse - the bleeding
8. kmfdm - nihil (kinda industrial but fuck you)
9. mr bungle - mr bungle
10. black sabbath paranoid

thats off the top of my head, there's a lot of memories in there. add carcass.. wake up and smell the caracass ads a wild card.

Also check out Eluveitie if you haven't already. They're Swiss, same vein of folk/metal/awesomeness, but ultimately cooler (imo).

Good to see someone else spreading the Circles love, I hadn't heard The Compass before, I've only got their three tracker, that's definitely a Hell of a lot heavier than what I've got, but it's just as amazing.

Of the stuff I've listened to my favourite track is definitely Beautiful Fascination, I could listen to the song on repeat for hours.

I had to give him the lowdown on voivod the other day.....he was listening to something that had the same logo as voivod from 86....
He did play me an alright ill bill track that spoke of voivod circa 86 also

I try to get into Gojira, but I just can't. There's a limit to the amount of distortion a guitar should have, and they overdo it.
