Hate getting sick because there are a few days of no sleep. There is clearly something wrong with my nose being both blocked when I get cold/flu.
Don't know why I even try and force myself to sleep only to wake up and blow my nose from a major discomfort on both side. My nose always has been known for poor drainage though but I went to one doctor and he said my nose was perfect. Guess its time to go to another doctor because past experience told me to keep changing doctor until I get to the root cause of the issue (in one of my case, 5 different doctors). _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Thanks guys, off to the adblock plus website
And furianshi, do websites get payed for the ads to be displayed or do they get paid when someone clicks on an ad? If its the former I'll definitely disable it for my favourite websites.
And falcon, I'm the opposite lol. I love ads at the cinemas and I like them on tv. But internet ads that your forced to sit through, just drive me insane XD

Just go to your browser's add on page and find Adblock Plus, it'll be added and set up in seconds.
I know on Youtube that partners gets ad revenue simply from people viewing their videos.

My parents have this phobia of lending out things to people. I wanted to lend my friend a copy of Wind Waker, a GCN controller and a memory card, and I was put through the wringer for it.
I'm assuming they're only like that because they've been burned in the past; but still, I view it as completely unreasonable in this case. _________________

Well, nobody reports them, obviously. They like buying cheap movies etc, so why would they? It might also be the case that these sellers are too small time for the authorities to bother with.
If it bothers you, report them.

Yeah I think piracy is becoming a normal household activity these days.
There are much more real/serious crimes that police need to focus on. They simply don't have the man power, and it wouldn't be worth paying for the extra staff to look into these things.
Also the subject is complex. If it wasn't for piracy then why do stores sell massive hard drives, stacks of writable dvd's ect? _________________

Who owns it, you or your parents? Presuming that it is you, they should probably let you get burned on your own accord. Best way to learn is through experience.

Uh... are you serious? You realise there are lots of things you can do on a computer that will take up tonnes of hard drive space without piracy right? _________________

I think it's been fairly common since tape recorders (audio or video, take your pick) came out. Heck, people probably did it with books, but that's before my time.

So you honestly believe most massive hard drives and writable dvd sales are for legit purposes?
What about the bit torrent seed boxes?

Tobbaco shops selling bong's and small pipes. Are they really just for smoking tobbaco? _________________

Just think about how much HDD space you need for Steam. I don't buy many games on it, usually only buying games that are around $5 (unless I really want it), and I have over 50. That would be a few hundred gigs worth of games, and they are all perfectly legal and paid for. So a lot of PC gamers would need that space for legal content.

I know there is a flaming probably coming my way for bringing up the topic. So I will state that I have never pirated a game in my life. TV stars, movie stars and the companies that make the shows/movies, always have and always will be rich even with piracy. On the other hand, game companies wouldn't exist if everyone downloaded there games. _________________

It's because of Australia's ridiculous crusade against smoking. Because of that the tobacconist can't survive normally. There aren't a lot of people like myself who enjoy often smoking tobacco that isn't just cigarettes. Because of that unfortunately the classy establishment that was the tobacconist has to HIDE its major product, as well as put things like bongs and novelties right next to a fine Peterson pipe. It's a damn shame. _________________

@FalconDude - Not ganging up on you or anything but I just like to point out there are certainly legitimate cases for a need for a large drives or dvds. These includes home videos (I know families who has numberless amounts to transfer to dvd), photos, a family sharing a main computer, music/videos for their portable devices, back-ups, digital tv recorders. I recently had to upgrade my drive because it got full with photos and my purchased music backups.
There's another list for the "more advance" reasons. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Funnily enough I decided to join a porn site and ended up going to pick up a portable hardrive to put the stuff from there on it cause I was ripping the entire site before my 1 month membership died.
I've also got 3D max scenes that clock up to 5 gigs each (Including all the textures) HD PSD files clocking in at 500 megs each.
I'm not going to pretend I don't pirate anything, Vuze is running in the background as I type this, but saying the only reason those markets exist is piracy is moronic.
Especialy with hard drives, I mean shit having WoW installed is like 30 gigs now or something ridiculous. _________________
