For some stupid reason I thought this wasn't out for another few months. Scrambling for cash right now. icon_annoyed.gif

I'm pretty sure the release date is as follows:

Japan: July 21st
America: a month later in August.

It's coming out in Japan under the subtitle Red Zone. I'm thinking of just importing really. Why? Super cool boxart! Proof:

Poop. I'm short on cash, but I'll start checking out some prices as it should be cheaper to import. I thought this had been delayed, but I guess not :P

If you think the JP boxart is cool, you should also check this out: http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT34905

I saw that a few days ago actually. It's super sweet and tempting, but $130 is what I barely survive on weekly these days. haha

Would of been cool if they made a NMH1 Sylvia model. Sylvia 1 > Sylvia 2. icon_razz.gif

Yeah, it's too expensive for me as well. Couldn't justify spending that much on a figure, even though it is Sylvia. The beam katana included does make it more difficult to resist though.

Had a bit of a look online and it seems importing is about $50 at the moment. Not bad compared to JBs & EBs ($75 & $80), but I need to see if my car passes its roadworthy before spending any more money over the next couple of weeks icon_sad.gif

I want to double dip, but I also want Shadows of the Damned and that's pricey, and if I'm going to double dip I'd probably order the Hoppers Edition of NMH2 first for collectables sake.

Guuh.

I was browsing JB today and this game was sitting on the shelf. I had no idea and I thought it was canceled. Definitely getting it from Ozgameshop or Zavvi.

That's what I thought. It was $79 in store I think.

https://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/ps3/no-more-heroes/648127

Says the 19th of May on their website so the store I went to probably put it out a day early.

@Pagan's Mind: Ha! Your right, apparently we lucky Aussies get it a lot earlier. But yeah, $75 is pretty expensive, much better to purchase it online! icon_smile.gif

Yes, it can. It's just a game with Move features.

On a related note...IT'S OUT! icon_eek.gif Why did nobody say this sooner!? *runs to JB*

Jaws: It's the blood soaked edition.

Everyone else: It is at EB (and probably some other stores) now (from 19 May in Australia) for $78 and yes it can be played without the Move controller.

My understanding is it the original Wii game with HD graphics and some extra bosses from the second game added in, as well as an arena battle mode and some bonus outfits I think.

I've already completed the Wii game twice but I still really want to play the PS3 version, it's such a great game. My copy should be posted on Monday, it's going to be a long wait.

Does anyone know what NMH2 bosses will be appearing? Probably put it in spoiler tags so people who haven't played NMH2 aren't spoiled.

after watching some of the trailers. I reckon this actually looked better on the Wii. The Cell Shading helped cover up a lot of the lack of detail and with propper shading it just looks... cheap.

Here's the list:

You fight them during the story in dream sequences that Travis has.

Benza: The trailers don't really do it justice. I just took a look at a comparison video of the game's opening, it looks much nicer than the original, with more vivid colours. Playing the game, it's still cel shaded, everything is just much sharper, high res, and a little more detailed now. It looks really good, I reckon.
