A girl with half a shaved head and awesome tattoos and piercings I randomly met. Who knew punk-style (clothing-wise) women with half a shaved head could be so hot... and like R&B?! Ahhh! _________________

I'll second (Third) the going manual thing, I only have an auto licence and it's a pain in the fucking arse. My Car cost an extra 3/4 grand to a comparable manual. Moving is a pain in the arse cause hireing trucks and utes are always manuals etc. _________________

This is awesome. Set aside ten minutes or so and just read... mine included facts about Empire Strikes Back, Pac-Man, Robert De Niro winning best actor Oscar, CDs and flash memory being invented, Christina Ricci's birth, John Lennon's death... it even goes into detail about the decade you were born in, and even the decade after... really cool.

Pretty cool.
Mine is 1986 and Top Gun was the top selling movie. Game of the day was Araknoid and John Farnham release Whispering Jack.
It mentioned about the fall of communism and countries entering the european community (union) yet it didn't mention the biggest thing that year and probably the decade in terms of foreign relations and the environment, Chernobyl. _________________ Games for Sale

Checked mine. Best director Oscar went to Francis Ford Coppola. Germany beat Netherlands 2-1 in the world cup. Now that's old. _________________ I'd be apathetic, but I can't be arsed.

Heh, the actual day that Chernobyl happened is my birthday, wrong year though.
This year when people were mourning the 25th anniversary of Chernobyl I was celebrating my 20th anniversary of not being dead. _________________

"In 1972... a long time ago, the year when you were born..."
wasn't that long ago if you take into account the age of the universe.

Oh man - started off good wth Ghostbusters being the popular film at the time being Ghostbusters! Then it got to the popular song when you were 15... Wake Me Up Before You Go Go- Wham.
Kind of balances out... _________________

i like in mine how it was telling me that there wasn't dvds and shit and people used to go to the cinema and didn't pirate stuff, ah yeah probably because they couldn't.
Things i remember from the early 80's
It was $2 to go to the cinema and $1 for the drive in, i also remember not being hassled about renting R rated videos, it was 20 cents for a mars bar and 40 for a can of coke.
you could get a coffee roll from the school canteen for 5 cents.
Drumsticks were 50 cents, god i remember being horrified when gaytimes went up to a dollar.
My parents paid $26 grand for a house and land with the house being built from scratch.
I remember K mart had a gun section with rows and rows of pump action shotguns for sale.
You could go outside and play war with your mates without some dickhead carrying on about violent toys, and you could do it without the weird van with free candy written on it driving up and down the block.
All arcade games were 20 cents a go.
You had actual bands like split enz with top 40 hits.
If you owned a c64 your were a king among children.
And probably something about wearing onions on the belt. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Just had am amusing lift incident.
I jump in a lift at work, there are a few people in it. The lift stops at the 8th floor and a guys gets on and presses the button for the 7th floor (for those playing along at home he is going down 1 floor).
Some snot nose kid goes “wassamatta are the stairs broken?†then looks smug.
The dude turns around and says “you wanna carry this?†and points to the giant trolley full of mail he had just wheeled into the lift.
There is an awkward silence, then he wheels the trolley out at the 7th floor. As he walks away we all notice he has a serious limp, a crooked spine, and those shoes where one is larger than the other.
At least the kid has the dignity to look embarrassed. _________________ Da Bessssss

That happened when I used to work at Coles. Lady said to a checkout dude who was scanning whilst sitting on a chair "They giving you guys chairs these days", with a bitchy look on her face.
He stands up to reveal only one leg. Nice. _________________ I'd be apathetic, but I can't be arsed.

hahah, ah it's why i don't assume anything at all these days, lots of times there is a perfectly good reason for stuff like that...
I have to use the lift here a lot, i like when i get in and someone has already farted in a lift so that when someone else gets on they think you did it. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill
