Not too bad at all, unless you already own them all.

Hrmmm pretty damn sweet I think! The fact that Sony are giving these games away for free because a free service was down is very nice of them. Sony +brownie points in my book.

Definately getting Infamous, now to choose between Wipeout HD and Dead nation - PALGN have a review for these two games?

Well its safe to say that Infamous is going to lose a lot of value in the next week or so...

Looks like I soon will own a copy of Little Big Planet and Wipeout. Cool.

How big is a download of Wipeout HD? This is going to wreck havoc on my internet quota. T_T

Wipeout HD by itself was around the 1 gig mark, though the Fury expansion pack means another 500meg or so I think. I downloaded them in 2 lots, so it might be smaller downloading them as one..

Think it's a little shoddy that basically they have offered old games that either already have a sequel or everyone owns already.. But then again, it's free, all I had to give up was my personal details for someone to steal..

Unfortunately I already own all but 1 PS3 and 1 PSP title, so is Dead Nation basically Sony's answer to Left 4 Dead?

Have/had them all at some point but they're all great. It's a good selection from Sony. Seriously, it wouldn't be fair on developers to give away a brand new game.

Will grab Infamous again to play through on evil.. have Wipeout but not Fury.

@pdaddy Dead Nation is a twin stick shooter from the makers of Super Stardust HD and it's really very good. If you haven't got Infamous that's a class A title!

I have all the games from that list that I'm interested in except Wipeout, so I'll be grabbing that, and probably inFamous even though I'm not at all interested in playing it (zombies are worse). PSP I already have LBP and Modnation, but since I'm not interested in the others I might end up getting the download LBP for portability.

Not sure about R&C Quest for Booty, but all the other titles are well received. Myself, I'll be picking up Dead Nation, always wanted this icon_smile.gif

I'll take it, I've been wanting to play Quest for Booty and Wipeout HD for a while. I know I'll feel intensely guilty since I almost never play games online and the PSN outage hasn't affected me in the least, though icon_lol.gif

I'll be honest here and say I'm a little disappointed... Mainly because I only JUST got LittleBigPlanet in the mail today and I already own the other PS3 games apart from Dead Nation. Still, on the up side my PS3 was originally a freebie anyway when I bought my TV so I can't really complain.

I never put my PSP online, so I'm curious if I will be able to download the free PSP games. I only got wireless internet about a month or two ago and never bothered setting up my PSP for it. The only game I'm interested in is ModNation Racers for PSP since I already own LBP PSP and couldn't careless about the others. However, I do actually own ModNation Racers on PS3 so again, no big loss really.

Just a little ticked off I bought LBP only a few weeks ago from Ozgameshop to have it arrive in the mail today - the very same day it's announced LBP is a free download on PSN...

Again though, the fact Sony are giving us full retail games is amazing and truly shows they're trying to gain everyone's trust again. One of my friends has been wanting to play InFamous and he's already told me he'll be downloading it.

I'm a bit disappointed that there are no recent games for pS3, as the latest one on offer is Dead Nation, which came out about xmas. Having said that, at least they are all worthwhile. Unfortunately I already own all of them , so no freebie for me.
For those interested in Quest for Booty. Just beware that it is only a very short game, maybe 3-4 hours and was released to bridge the gap between the two PS3 R&C retail releases. It is good though. For those trophy hunters, it does not have them either.
