I wouldn't expect to receive anything until the network is back up too 100%, early June would be my guess.

Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

So does that mean if you've got a PSP and a PS3, they will get 4 games all up? Seems like quite a decent deal that Sony is doing, at least in the US. Here's hoping something as good as this happens in Australia.

1. For eligibility for the welcome back programme consumers must be an account holder on 20 April 2011. 4. Access to the 30 days free PS Plus subscription is only available for those countries where PS Plus is offered. You will have access to the PS Plus content planned for May for 30 days. Access to the free games and exclusive features finishes at the end of the 30-day subscription period. Anything you buy with exclusive discounts, dynamic themes and premium avatars are yours to keep forever. |

Wow they did actually put some disc-based titles on there. Now do I get Dead Nation and RaC:QfB or Infamous (which I no longer own)....
I'm guessing those asterisks (*) refer to the numbered bullet points at the bottom?

Yeah these are sweet. I'll be grabbing Wipeout and LBP for sure on PS3 and KZ and Modnation on the godly portable.
Pretty awesome lineup considering it wasn't inconveniencing me. Free games are great.

Yeah, I agree, the downtime didn't affect me in anyway but it's pretty generous by Sony. I don't actually use my PS3 or PSN at all but it's a nice gift.
Any idea when the PLUS kicks off? I wouldn't mind getting the PS1 games on offer (you keep them forever right?).

Trying to have a couple of games on MW2 today but keep getting this when I go into Online Play:
Online Status
Fetching playlists...
Updating Rank and Unlocks...
Connecting to Matchmaking Serve...
and it won't go away! I was able to play fine yesterday, is it safe to assume that the PS3 servers for games are a bit crazy at the moment? Or has this happened to anybody here before?

I think I read that you can keep them on your HDD but you can only play them if you are subscribed, but I could also be completely wrong.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think anything bought through PS+ you keep forever. The only things that you can't use when your sub runs out is the free games.
