Nope, just came up with a screen saying you need to change your password, then asks you for the new password and to re-enter the new password. _________________ Games for Sale

Might be unstable.
I was playin some mw2 online, then it dropped out and I tried to get back in but it was just stuck at trying to connect to the matchmaking server.
Still connected to PSN though. _________________ Games for Sale

Yes you do once you log into psn. Obviously everyone is trying to log in and hence the problems but yeah once its up just log into psn and it will ask you to change it. _________________

I'm in Melbourne and I was able to log in at about 8:30 this morning, so it's obviously having issues with congestion at the moment. _________________

I have tried several times (from around 6am - 10:30am)to connect to the PSN in order to change my password and have been met with the 'under maintenance' message every time. Luck of the draw I guess...

I think I might wait for this to settle down before I update. Hope it happens soon.

Okay.
So, the PSN was back up this morning. However, due to high traffic volumes, majority of people will have 'PlayStation Network is down for maintenance' pop up on their screens when they try and sign in.
We are suggesting that you be patient and try at different intervals throughout the day.
Thanks. _________________

Really? We're questioning someone's lack of knowledge of current affairs from years ago? Man, I'm so out of the loop when it comes to even *current* news and stuff like celebrities... my sister called me weird the other week because I didn't know who all these people at the Logies were.

From twitter:
| Quote: | | We're expereiencing a heavy load of password resets and will be turning off the services for 30 minutes to clear the queue. |
That was tweeted by Playstation 3hrs ago.
I'd expect it to be on and off for a couple of days.

I wouldn't really put knowing who some dumb broad trying to launch her music career in Neighbours as the same as knowing one of Australia's most infamous killers.
Also how do I get my free game out of this PSN thing? _________________

I'm guessing that would need the PSN Store to be back up first - which is happening at the end of the month. _________________
