What sort of USB device are you trying to use?
Does it work on any other computers? _________________

Get the drivers for it.
Also, this kind of thing belongs in the "one questions" thread. It's not really a topic for discussion. _________________

Its a long shot but try doing a "Windows Update" and select the custom option, then download and install any software for hardware that is available. _________________

Have you tried plugging the USB flash drive to all of the ports of your computer?
My money is on underpowered USB ports. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Turn off your computer then unplug it from the wall for 10secs, then plug back in and turn it on and try it. Have seen this fix a few (due to motherboard always having power to it even when PC is off)
Otherwise google it, you will get much more info there. _________________ XBL/PSN/Steam: BenC82

Do you know what format the drive is in? You should be able to find it somewhere in the drive's properties.
Windows might not recognize it unless it is FAT-something or NTFS. I'm not sure what formats your Mac would use by default on USB drives. _________________

Right click Computer, choose Manage
Go to Disk Management
Look for your Flash Drive
Is it there?
Now plug it into your Mac
open spotlight
type disk util
press return
locate flash drive in right column
check disk format
if it is Mac OS Extended (otherwise called HFS+)
back up contents of drive, then within Disk Utility, click Erase, and choose FAT32
Otherwise just buy another Mac. _________________

Long shot, but if you're using Windows 98 it doesn't automatically detect USB mass storage device drives.
If this is the case you need to get into this decade dude!
(More likely the stick is formatted using the Mac filesystem, as already suggested above) _________________ My Photos
