So, what is a 3x3?
- It's a 3x3 mosaic made of images to represent what you consider the best 9 games of all time.
- "Best" can mean whatever you decide: the highest quality software at the current moment, the most influential games, the best games at the time they were released, whatever you feel like.
- The images can be screenshots, box art, fan art; anything.
- Your #1 best game should go into the middle.
The mosaic maker is here (Please resize it to 60-70% of its original size to stop the board stretching):
http://bighugelabs.com/mosaic.php
Why not make a 3x3 and post it in this thread? You will feel warm on the inside.
I'll start:
Inb4 "Mirror's Edge is a clunky, broken experience." If you simply play the game with a different mindset (this is that it will not, and never will be an FPS, and the way to play is by doing everything smoothly), you should realise just how stunning it is.
So yeah, let's see how this thread goes. It could be really crap or really interesting... _________________

Love this idea Esposch
The top 3 games in my mosaic are the games that i have spent 100+ hours in each to get loot . I love games based around loot and collecting loot and so on
Middle row are prob some of my favourite rpgs atm.
Last line is the games i enjoyed this gen. _________________

Still, I couldn't help but notice you had Lost Odyssey in there: a game I bought then played for 20 minutes. I know what I'll be doing today... _________________

Well it was one of those jrpgs that gave me some challenge. I think i passed it and yeah i spent well over 60+ hours on it. It was one of those games that made me go fuck this is difficult but a good kind of difficult. If that makes sense lol _________________

Awesome idea, but damn hard to pick 9.
I kinda cheated on the Prime Trilogy one, but hey... it's one disc so I guess that counts. _________________

Great thread. this made me think of all my faves and hnng all over the place with memories. The one in the centre is of course, my absolute fave. The one to the left of it is just barely behind it though <3

You know, thinking back on what I actually enjoyed playing, I really should have tried maybe broadening my genres some more. But there was only ever going to be 1 game in the middle for me, no way no how otherwise.
Triceratops + pineapple = T-rex
Enough said really.

Yeah I was a 64 kid. Rugby League on PS2 gets an honourable mention for the amount of hours put into it. _________________

Here's my nine. A little unoriginal, I guess, but definitely a few of the most significant markers on the timeline of my childhood.
Sorry about the images cuttings out parts of the logos and objects, I didn't think to edit the images into squares before putting them through the mosaic maker. /facepalm
