Reading that EA is there gives me hope that they will show BF3 there which is the only game I am looking forward to.
So even with the price, and even if it might not be as big as the US shows, as long as I get to see some BF3 material, I will be happy. Maybe even a playable demo.

Having been to Microsoft, EA and Sony functions back in my retail days and also having been to the Tokyo Game Show, I've come to prefer experiencing these events in front of my computer.
Unless there's a game you really, really need to play early, I believe you get better coverage online.
But... if a heap more (not just EA and Ubisoft) jump on board then it's good to see some sort of effort for Aussies.

Gonna rock this as its close to home and I have connections with the venue staff, though Phrequency is right, the actual events are pretty full on. Though hopefully this will have a few less thousand people than TGS.
