Ah, that wasn't my game Perhaps you were out of the room during mine. I didn't see yours either, I left after I was knocked out since I was feeling unwell and anxious.
And sure I would, if the stranger wearing a tapir shirt was at the Pokemon tournament, of the right gender and general age Wait, you weren't wearing a tapir shirt, were you? I didn't see anyone wearing one, but I'm not very observant... _________________

I was on the TV in the 3rd round, when I got knocked out. |
It was just a wild stab in the dark. I had no idea that that was you, all I knew was that whoever that was really liked Drifblim. You wouldn't go up to a stranger wearing a tapir shirt and asking if it was me.
And I don't fully remember the game you were. I remember an Escavalier not doing a whole lot (got Overheated by Chandy), and the Reuiniclus Calm Minding, but I think I stopped watching after that. Sorry. :/
BTW, did you see my battle? I was tearing **** apart with Alomomola. |
Did you save a battle video? I'd love to see Alomomola tear stuff up. He gets points in my book for the palindromic name.

No I didn't. I messaged a guy who might have, though. It'll be in Black & White, however. And Alomomola was just a support (he was a VERY helpful support, though. 11/10 trollage.) _________________

Haven't checked this thread in a while.
I'm just impressed it's at 17 pages long, when my intention was to orginally find the cheapest/best place to buy the game haha _________________ I have no signature

There is a house on route 15 you need to talk to a scientist and he'll get you to a screen where you can get another DS to do download play. once it's done loading you pick pokemon from a box to send over. (Make sure that the DS you use to download play has a pokemon game in it. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

But you have to play some stupid minigame to transfer them. Also, you can't trade them back from B/W to a Gen IV game.

Yippee, I can't believe it, I just got a new shiny! I've been hunting in Pinwheel Forest for a Sewaddle or Petilil since I got my shiny Blitzle. Up until yesterday I was only encountering in the normal grass but Kyle suggested that I should encounter in the double grass instead, so I moved there. It looks like it paid off! After 2212 random encounters, this beautiful purple shiny appeared which is now named Nocturna

I'll train her up real soon and start work on a new target, already planning on choosing a higher level area to hunt so Zabre (my Zebstrika) can level up more. I will return to hunting Petilil and Sewaddle at some point but for now I'm sick of Pinwheel Forest.
EDIT:
OMG! I just lost a freaking shiny! Encountered a shiny Tranquill outside of Dragonspire Tower and lost him due to hitting the RUN button instead of BAG.....so angry for messing that up. I did managed to take a pic and film a tiny bit.

Yeah, it's amazing how lucky you get when you play for hours every single day. _________________

Not at all. Why would I be jealous of a shiny Pokemon when I have a screwdriver that can open DSes. _________________

This surprised me....have been sitting here at my PC just randomly encountering pokemon on Route 6 while browsing the internet when this appeared

Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJyYMvGVONc
This cute little Deerling took me 2278 random encounters since my last shiny 10 days ago. It seems that I get my shinies just after the 2000 mark so I'm pretty happy about that I am a little disappointed about the gender as I was hoping to get a female Deerling as it just seems odd to have a pink male deerling, oh well, there's not much that can be done about that. I'm tempted to name him Bambi (I can't remember if Bambi was male or female lol) but I'm not sure....if anyone has any male deer name suggestions, just toss me a PM or something.
I looked at his IVs and this is what came up:
Deerling - #585 (Relaxed)
Male (♂) Chlorophyll
HP: 5 - 8
Att: 31
Def: 15 - 17
SpA: 10 - 12
SpD: 11 - 14
Speed: 25 - 28
I'm not sure what I'm hunting next, I still want to replace the shiny Tranquill that I lost the other week so I might concentrate on that with either random encountering or MM hatching. _________________

Bambi was a male. A male Sawsbuck makes far more sense than a female.

Jessara's Deerling's name suggestion: Dinner.

I keep getting some luck lately, probably to make up for not getting any shinies for more than a year. Today, I was EV training my shiny Deerling, which is now a Sawsbuck. To train him I went to Dragonspiral Tower as it has all Attack and Speed EV pokemon. I was alternating between the double grass and the first floor of the tower when the Golett appeared after 57 encounters

I kind of panicked when it came to capturing as I didn't have anything with me that could bring down his health a bit so I took my chances with an Ultra Ball, it did a critical capture on the first ball. This was certainly unexpexted shiny as I was just EV training lol.
I took a short vid of the Golett and Sambark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5d9vxkPHPg My fourth 5th gen shiny on Pokemon White. Now I have to train him up along with Sambark. Is anyone else here getting any shinies?
Sir Spook's IVs:
Golett - #622 (Hasty)
None (X) Iron Fist
HP: 12 - 14
Att: 0
Def: 10 - 12
SpA: 11 - 13
SpD: 0 - 3

I have no shinies, the only one I had was on GBC Gold and that was an unown after doing some of the puzzles.
Then again, I probably don't play enough consistently to really get many shinies. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

I finally FINALLY just got this game. I like it alot. Unlike Jessara, I have encountered no shinies sadly, although I'm insanely jealous of the Golett shiny as it's my favourite looking shiny this gen. I've only ever gotten 2 shinies ever, A green weedle in Gold, and a painstakingly hatched Yanma in Pearl. Is there anyway to increase shiny probability in this game?
Anyways, just got to route 9 and I've been doing pretty damn well on my pokedex, If I where to evolve everything I'd have close to 115 pokemon captured in the dex.
I love the region of this game, it's very cool. _________________

Well, the masuda method has been beefed up. If you're breeding pokes from different countries, the shiny chance is now something like 1 in 1300.
