My 1000th Post Tribute

Well, it’s been quite some time since I signed up here at PAL GN. Why don’t we step into the time machine, and go back to that day…. *Time Travel Sequence*

The say was 19th March 2002, two days after the launch on 17th March 2002. To tell you the truth, I wouldn’t of been here if it wasn’t for BronzeTiger. I always remember being on PAL CUBE, but it wasn’t much fun, and the IGN Boards where better, so I stayed clear. I was online and I got a message from BronzeTiger telling me about http://www.palgn.com.auwww.palgn.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www./a>. I said, “What is this?” and he replies with explaining to me that it’s the new PAL CUBE. I was quite reluctant to go, but he finally convinced me. How so glad I am to have went…

Since that time I have made loads of friends on these boards, we have smashed/confirmed rumours, given crap to NTSC territories bitched about the stupid things Nintendo may have done (i.e. 17th May Launch for Australia GRRR!) whether or not the PAL GCN has 60hz or Progressive scan, or both. The X-Box and PS2 boards are starting to flourish with users, and the fan boy wars are starting up. BronzeTiger and I have started the biggest $poon monopoly ever to grace a Board system, which ended up in me being moderator on that board.

Well, now is the time I thank people for things they may have done.

Of course, I have to thank this great fellow, for with out him I would not be here today (on these boards, not in a suicidal kind of way). He has been a great mate, constantly doing things for people, and giving away his hard earned $poons. Thank You!

MrCivic

Well… Recently MrCivic has been my figure of torture, starting with the editing of posts, which turn out quite funny. He has great qualities, which work to my advantage, i.e. being able to take a joke, and he usually supports me in my arguments. Thank You!

This guy is my English Insider, telling me whets going down in England, and innocently reminding we how long I still have to wait. I’m sure we will be friends for a long time to come.

Also, how could I fogrget you also. Oh the days of just chatting are over, and the days of just Playing Scorch2000... Whats the score now? Havn't I won every game... (Except for that draw we had a while ago)You always bury me inder ten tonnes of dirt, and I retaliate by send a Death Hdead (8 small nuclear bombs) your way... Ahh the fun. By the way, I reckon we should start up a PAL GN Scorch Clan? Agree?

How could I forget you guys? Without you, there would be no forum for me to moderate! You guys are always argumentative (especially craptest), and for that I thank you. Without that the place would be very boring to be at. Without you guys this place could not be where it is.

Jolly good job on the 1000 posts, certainly put my 225 or so posts to shame. Now onto 2000 posts and beyond.
