Latest Purchases: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ( for PSX from videogamesplus.ca, Greatest Hits -serie ), Final Fantasy Tactics ( the same ), Star Wars: Roque Squardon III: Rebel Strike for GameCube ( got it off dirt-cheap - 20€ ), Metal Slug 3 for Xbox ( 20€ also ), The Matrix Trilogy on DVD, Resident Evil 4 for Cube.

Whew, I've been a-spending myself! It all has to do with the fact that for the past 6 months I have been broke. Not currently. But soon... I will be again icon_wink.gif

Latest Purchase: "Metroid Prime" & "Metroid Prime 2: Echoes".

MP is a great game so far, but I don't know if it's my type of gameplay - I'm more a fast-paced platformer type gamer than what MP has to offer, but so far have been amazed at everything in the game for every second thhat I was playing.

Next Purchase:: The world... I mean, probably a copy of "Super Mario Land" for the GB that I found in goooood condition on-line.

Debating whether to buy God of War and Tekken 5.

Love Tekken tag and Soul Calibur 2 but I'm worried Tekken 5 won't have to much to offer the solo player ( I can'ts stands playing without a motivated reason... e.g. unlockables, story.). Also God of War is supposedly excellent but I don't know if I can fork out $100 for an action game when I just did for devil may cry 3 ( over too fast!), especially when there is a couple of dvd boxes I've got my eye on.

The addition of T 1,2,3 arcade is a great thing.... but am I going to play it if I have a superior version ( 5 ) in the package.... probrably... but not for long.

Also the whole Tekken 3 Pal slow down debacle... I'm assuming since this version is arcade perfect and most likely adjusted to PAL correctly, that this will be the best available version of Tekken 3 available to us.

God of War looks mighty tempting... especially with the slew of unlockables it contains... but I paid a heavy amount for my PSP and only have three games... feels like I need to built up it's catalog.

Also If you find Guardian Heroes for saturn PAL for under $50 aus. Tell me, been searching everywhere.
Ditto Shining force 3

Huh? I've bought about 40 Saturn Games on ebay in the last 2 years...
I've almost competed my Saturn Capcom fighters collection - only Marvel vs Street Fighter And Final Fight Revenge to go! (I've got PAL and Jap versions of all that have them, too!)

Dreamcast is much harder because Vampire Chronicle and SS2TX are both very rare, but I'm almost there with that one too.

This week I got King of Fighters 96 (only need 94 and 01 - 03 now) and Rockman X4.

Thanks for the links.

As a response to what PSP games I own, I actually have four ( not three as previously stated. Forgot about the one I bought with the actual console.)

Ridge Racer. (almost completed EX mode, except for the super race and the pac-man level.)
Wipeout Pure.
Metal Gear Acid
Lumines.

So far Ridge Racer has got the most play time, can't really get into wipeout, don't really like the control scheme. Personal preference though.
Lumines is good though how anyone could unlock all the things in challenge mode is beyond my comprehension.
Metal Gear Acid is alot better than I expected. At the point that I am in the game however it seems to be becoming a bit dull. ( i've just found out I'm closer to the end than I thought... thanks to www.gamefaqs.com)

I intend to make a mass order in the near future. Definitely getting Midnight Club ( I didn't really enjoy the 2nd one but I've heard good things, and seeing as it is the entire console game... ) and coded arms ( Death JR as well if I wait till August... which I won't .). I'm thinking about Darkstalkers Chronicle ( or whatever it's PSP equivalent is called ) and Tony Hawk Underground 2. Although I bought THUG2 on Gamecube and didn't get around to playing more than two levels... but the idea of sitting in a lecture doing some kickflips is a very appealing one.
Also intend on grabbing Kirby Ds.

If you can afford a PSP and 4 games (what, that's like $800 including shipping!), why be concerned about saving money on saturn games?

Ha ha. I got the PSP from DVDcrave ( Australian, no import tax ) and the games from CDuniverse on a seperate order. Technically you are correct, I know that I will spend AT LEAST the equivalent of $100+ Time with Guardian Heroes and Shining force..... ( which would be alot more than I would spend with any other current generation game.) but something about the fact that the games are from a previous generation makes me feel as though I should not spend too much money on them.
Also I have developed a subconcious barrier which prevents me from purchasing an item if I have seen that item at some point in time at a cheaper price. ( Guardian heroes for $35 once at an old Eb equivalent that does not exist anymore.)

Decided to upgrade the stereo in my car, so i bought these parts for it;

12" 800W Kenwood Sub (Box not pictured)
300W 2-Channel Coustic Amp
6.5" 2-way JL Splits
Amp/Sub Wiring Kit

I'm sick of the 2 stock speakers in the car, so this should do nicely. Unfortunately I couldn't get a new head unit as the dash on my car is crap and you can't install one, so I'm gonna have to stick to the current one. So i got a line output converter to help with things.

JB is good in stock and prices, but they can get abit crazy sometimes. They started stocking GBA games, one of the games, The legend of Zelda (minish cap), although about 2 months old now, priced at $100! Of course, now it's dropped to a 'great saving' of $70 (-$30). But I have picked up quite a few cheap anime dvd's when they satrt to think they get old.

Awesome set-up Civ. JB Hi-Fi are awesome for deals though. I managed to pick up the D.V.D for Clean Slate a couple months back for $6.99. Awesome pick up and there are all sorts of great deals on D.V.D boxsets. Most of their stuff is usually half the price of regular retail stores such as K-Mart.

I suggest everyone checks out Clean Slate though. Brillant movie. Features Dana Carvey, most likely most famous amongst people for his 'Garth' role in Wayne's World.
