Can't help it, but whenever i've seen a post with someone saying they have the game.... or other various mentions of MK...... i always have the "MORTALLLLLLLLLL KOMBATTTTTT" voice in my head (the one from the MK music video around the time of the first movie).
An odd tidbit from way back then, i remember the video clip on video hits had footage of the original game.

regular ps3 version. I orginally had the Kollectors Edition on pre-order but cancelled it as reakon it was easier to get just the game thru customs instead of a giant box with "MORTAL KOMBAT" plastered all over it

Paid extra for the shipping. A few mates are after it so hope both get through okay.

Kollector's edition Arrived......in a Large oversized box(Typical Amazon  ) half filled with brown paper. Surprised at how large the Bookends actually are.
Shall play soon, if i have the time

Oh Gee Whiz I should have ordered from Amazon with express shipping. At this rate I will be waiting for weeks to get my copy from 365games.
I just couldn't pass up the cheap price (approx $53.00 dollars AUD)...
... BUT THE WAIT WILL KILL ME.
Maybe I should just order a second copy from Amazon and palm it off...

crazy talk aside i hope youv all been considering the net code your getting ? IE get the UK copy unless you want to play on US severs.

Having played the full game for quiet a bit after the demo, not much has changed.
The demo was fine anyway.
A simple summary of the game so far, this is the best MK since MK11.
Fun, fun fun...
Haven't started single player ladder, been practicing and doing the challenge tower to learn the game.
MK has always been seen as a casual fighting game, but Midway clearly trying to change this to a more serious fighter.
Input window forgiving compared to SF, but still requires good timing.
Faster paced fighting, animations in combos not as fluid as SF but still a whole lot of satisfaction in chaining long combos.
This game is a must buy even for SF fans who never liked this series.
Any non-MK fans who wont like this game should never play another MK game. This game is dope..
Will be alternating between SSFIV and this.
MK is a winner! Midway did awesome work with this.
