Really I feel you cannot complain too much when it's free, but it still possible to criticise. From the screens it looks not too much better than BF2, however it is an accomplishment getting that into browsers.

I feel that this is great for those, like me, who would like to relive their BF2 days without reinstalling that. Shame that not all the BF2 content is free (from what I understand is that it would have all the weapons from BF2 but you have to buy many of them).

Well it's free, but they're still just trying to make money, albeit more sneakily. From what I've seen if you want to get anything decent out of it you'd have to spend some money, at which point your better off buying BC2 which is very cheap nowadays. You spend $3 here, $2 there and before you know it you've spent $200 over the course of a year on basic weapons and maps which would have been free in a retail game bought for $20....

Unless they brought in something unique and original that made it worth it, there's no reason to pursue this game really.

didnt read the review? they compared bfp4f to quake live, only bfp4f is quake live done poorly. instead of a yearly subscription for extra content, they make u pay a heap of little transactions for stuff that should already come with the game
