I just added up all the folders within The Macintosh HD folder and compared it with my HD, and it seems There is a hidden 12gb or so, and I'm assuming this is bad?

Mine has about a 4GB differential (on a 2TB drive). How big a drive have you got? _________________

Could they be system folders?
Use CleanMyMac to clean up language files and other 32bit installations.
I cleaned up like 12gb the first time. _________________

Good on 'em. Like a 10 hour session in a studio or something?
I remember rocking our Freeza gigs as a kid. A great way to get some experience. Which region?
Yeah, I hope they finish. Tried to organise Henry to organise vocals for that recording, booked a date and time (a Monday morning) and he facebooked me later that day saying he could do that night. I was a bit disaponted as I had arranged it a month before and he kept ignoring my calls and facebooked me after the session. I finished the recording without the vocals and never heard from them againl.
If I can find a copy of the song, I'll send it too you. Sounds nothing like the original, as there was too much empty space with the vocals. I've arranged it my way which they probably wouldn't have liked. _________________

They won the whole BoTB's comp, I know, I was surprised too.
Hahaha funnily enough they've done everything BUT vocals, that's for next week
It's at the hothouse
But yeah that's a shame, this was a uni thing wasnt it? And yeah, send it if you find it _________________

Did you take into account all the Unix folders that are hidden in the Finder? You can sometimes wind up with a lot of stuff in places like /var/cache.
Also, how big is your swap file? Mine's been known to grow well into the 6GB range. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

Swap file?
I'm not Techguy, I know little about how it all works
Also, I'm not doing anything but my hard drive disk keeps decreasing, I had a virus scan and it said there were no threats
Ive even turned off the net and it's still happening _________________

Did you download and run a program called 'Pacman' from a dodgy looking website, perhaps? _________________

is it possible to remove the "Cant post again so soon" warning when you're reporting posts? Makes it a pain in the arse with the spam. _________________

Got that when trying to send private messages to 3 different person at the same time for my Borderlands GOTY 4 pack split. It was the same message too (just my bank details) _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Anyone know what the deal is with those colored squares (usually 5-6 of them and they are standard printer ink colours) you find on the bottom of cardboard packaging boxes (I'm looking at the bottom of a juice box right now)?
Do they have a name and what purpose do they serve? Something to do with checking to see if the printer still has ink? _________________

I always thought that those were the base colours used in the printing process of that packaging, although I'm pretty sure that was just a guess that formed itself into a certainty and is more than likely bunk. _________________

They are print markers. Its an easy way to see if any colours have been left out/affected during the print. For example if the little blue box is gone/off key/in stripes - the blue in the print will be affected. Which isn’t always as obvious as you think - might just be a yellow patch that should have been green. (if you didn’t see the design in its digital form you might not even realise)
A big issue when dealing with clients/logos/colour schemes and what not.

Not sure about product boxes, but for things like newspapers I think they're also to check alignment of the colours. Sometimes the colours get printed a few millimetres out of position, giving each edge a different shade. _________________
