I liked it, but did they really need to spend the last two minutes in slow motion on Sonya? It's like they ran out of ideas on how to pad it out, but up until that I thought it was rock solid. Nothing greatly special, but a good start.

honestly if I hadn't seen the original short I wouldn't be giving this another shot for the second episode, Ok so I probbably would cause I love mortal kombat but I'd be doing it begrudgingly.
The best bit of the original short was the brutality of the fights and seeing how they re-imagined the really fantasy focused characters into a real world. The fight in this with Kano vs Jax had none of the impact of Baraka vs Johnny Cage, and it focused on the characters that allready work fine in a realistic universe. _________________

My thoughts exactly. However, that 12 minute video was still better than Mortal Kombat 2.
I'm holding out for some sweet Scorpion vs. Sub Zero action in future episodes... _________________

Second episode was out the other day.
I was more interested in this then the new game. But i don't know. To me it hasn't carried out the spirit of the preview.. Saw the image of Barakka's redesign. He looks horrible. _________________

TBH i don't think any game will live up to how awesome Mortal Kombat 1-3 was because it was so new for its time. Like i mean we have never seen blood let alone fatalities in any fighting game at that point. Sorry to get side tracked just saying my 2 cents. _________________

still doesn't seem to have the spirit from the 'Rebirth' concept video. Hell, the only thing thats really carried over is 4 cast members. _________________

Really interested in watching this but would love to wait for the first 9 and then watch them all in one!
Anyone know if there are plans to release this on DVD in future? They knocked back the Rebirth movie, but I'm sure Warner Bros. wouldn't mind some pennies off the back end. _________________

yeah I'm a little dissapointed that this seems to be following the game canon rather then the one they set up in that trailer. _________________

Don't worry guys i really think this is just a launching pad for a movie.... Considering it has done well i reckon they will create one. _________________
