get to the mega-interplanetary-ninja-assassin claptrap boss at the end, hide behind the bus while he runs around killing all the claptraps for you... (make sure the controller is plugged in so it doesn't turn off) while your character is protected, walk away for a few hours and do something else, or have a sleep or whatever. Then come back and collect all the stuff lying around. Keep repeating until you get all the trophies.

got platinum on dragon age and 100% all the dlcs great game not sure about getting the 2nd or wait for ultimate edition again.
playing Record of Agarest War hopefully finishes up to about 60-70% of trophy complete. then gonna try my luck on mass effect 2

Is Agarest the DL version, or does the UK one now have trophies?

Is Agarest the DL version, or does the UK one now have trophies? |

Got the Platinum for Assassin's Creed II this morning.
Nothing hard about getting the Platinum, but that's not why I played the game. I played it cause it's good.
Plus, so I can play Brotherhood multiplayer. 
The best part of the game was this glitch... till it froze my PS3.
Not my video, but that's exactly what happened and the same reaction as I had too. (double Hidden Blade Assassination FTW)

did the platinum for killzone 3 much easier then killzone 2
also did SVR2011 platinum today 1004 finishers was a killer trophy
royal rumble online was cool to bit of lag tho.
only 2 trophys away in 2010 maybe i will try finish it some time.

The hardest trophy on Ashes was the 6 x 4 runs. Too hard not clearing it over the fence.

The easiest way to get batsmen out was to bowl inswingers at the base of off stump with a medium pace bowler. For some stupid reason the batman tries to play a cut shot most of the time and gets bowled or LBW.

Yay 2nd Platinum achieved. It was for Naruto Ninja Storm 2 took me about 40-50 hours but i enjoyed it except for the online part.
Next platinum i am going for is Final Fantasy XIII

Just platinumed sly cooper 1 - from sly copper collection.
Easy plat as in you only need to play through the game, but some parts are super frustrating & tricky.

I didn't platinum it, but I did get the trophy for maxing out every character. I gave up when I realised how much extra effort would be involved to obtain the trophy for one of every weapon...

i wanted to play final fantasy quit after i beat the game tho
playing dynasty warriors 7 at 35 hours plat time is 70-95 hours
wanted to wait for dlc to grind more but since easter holidays
no postman to give me other games to play so im forced to play it more.

I got my plat (or rather 1000/1000) not long after maxing out all the characters. It's a specific item you need off those giant turtle enemies, Trap-something, that adds on the hours.

Just got my platinum for Sly Raccoon 3. I completed the trilogy in order, one after the other.
I really loved the first game, but then the second felt like a real chore to complete. The third reignited the fun of it, which was good. If I had hated it, I don't think I could have tolerated the challenges.
There were a few frustrating moments, especially when some of the controls wouldn't register, but overall it was great fun. I can definitely see myself playing them again.

I loved the first game. Second was really, really repetitive imo. Glad I gave it up and moved onto better games. I would follow my advice vman.

Unless you really want the platinum.. I'd say avoid it and move on to 3. Even if you were just playing for fun, I think I'd still avoid it to be honest, since it doesn't really add that much to the story or anything. The game drags out far too much and is just (as dloiscute said) repetitive, and a chore to play.
