So with the global link coming up finally, I decided to check if my Espeon was still registered... and I have no idea. It didn't say anything about 'playing for fun', but it did save my high score. Where do I have to check on this?

I just went back to the game, told me that I still have my Leafeon secured and playing just for fun. You might need to play it again.

Finally got around to playing the 'Befriend a Pokemon' game. I managed to get myself a Vaporeon (got Umbreon first, but cancelled it). Luckily I'm a fan of those 'Breakout' kind of games, so it wasn't so bad. I died a lot trying to avoid orbs though. That last level was a pain in the rear trying to avoid all the millions of leafeon and glaceon orbs.

So the Global Link is now activated. Sent my Larvesta into the dreamworld. Not too bad, some fun little mini games to play to befriend some pokemon that I could choose one of to bring into my game. I got a Lickitung. No idea how to actually find the Leafeon that I won in the breakout game.

I'm trying to figure out how to connect. I've sent a woobat to the dream world and the page with the dream world keeps saying it is processing registration data, how long does that take?

About the eevee evolutions, I'm thinking you might get them through the Entralink forest....not sure but I'll try it in a bit.

EDIT: Apparently the Eevee evolutions aren't available to download yet, they'll appear on the Promotions page.

I just tried the E Z Email thing and it's stupid....you can only choose what they allow you to pick

Apparently we don't get our Eeveelution until the 5th of march, when they take the befriending game down.

What a load of crap this Global Link is....they've had months to get this ready. I still can't access the Dream World because it is still processing the registration info. If it is like this everyday then it is the worse thing they have done with the games.

The number of registered PGL users hasn't even changed since I signed up 4 hours ago

I've registered my Game Cart, but I can't use game sync anymore, so do I have to wait till tomorrow?

You need to go to Fennel's Lab in the second city (I think), either that or it was using the online options of the C-Gear then game sync. It lets you choose a pokemon to send to the Dream World.

This is something that has me worried:

They ended up fixing up my account, they must be doing each broken account as people report them. The Dream World is okay. I ended up with a heal ball on my first visit today and would of had a budew but I had planted all of my berries and didn't have one to put into the wish tree. How do you visit a friend's Dream World house?

You can't get the Eevelutions yet. They'll be released at a later date.

Also, I got my first DW pokemon yesterday! A Sunkern with Early Bird and Earth Power. I'm more interested in Earth Power than Early Bird, to be honest.

Yeah, as far as I know the issues with Befriending an Eeveelution are fixed, I just clicked on the "Global Link" button on the top menu instead of "Play Again". Got an Espeon! <3

The Dream World is kinda fun - the games aren't too bad, actually. Not as frustrating as the Breakout game.

Did any of you guys get stuck on the GL screen with a 0% loading bar? Because that's about as far as I've gotten so far.

Tried different browsers too; maybe I should contact them?

Finished this game awhile back but haven't had the chance to give my thoughts after being hit by assignmentgeddon.

In short, Pokemon Black is the best game since the original generation. It just did everything right, it was a challenge yet it never felt like I was punished needlessly.

I could go into it further and probably will later but it's 5:50am and I'm not exactly in the mood to write out a full review.

Just for those playing at home my end game team was...

Samurott Lvl 55
Krookodile Lvl 55
Gothietelle Lvl 50
Vanilluxe Lvl 48
Reshiram Lvl 50
Zebstrika Lvl 50

Simisear (Lvl 40) was my 6th member before the legendary.

I got a little lazy towards the end. I basically skipped through the 4th to 7th gym without training new members so when it came time to take on the 8th gym all I really had was Samurott, Krookodile and Zebstrika. I raised Vanilluxe as it was the only ice pokemon I had and trained Gothy in preparation for the Elite 4.

In the end it's a great game and I was very satisfied with the experience.

Is anyone going to the Nintendo tour events?

Okay, I haven't played de Pokemons for a few weeks now (!!!), and I think I'm getting my second wind at it.
How do I register for all this Dream World stuff?
I went to Pokemon.com and poked around there, but then I found the Pokemon Global Link site, which then directed me to Pokemon.com.
So I guess I create an account there (Does US or UK region matter, or is it just the language?), and how do I link this up to my game?
I just don't want to go around registering on a bunch of sites without actually knowing if they're relevant to what I want.
