Nice. I have the blue colonial soldier ship. Although it appears to have a lot less pieces - 300ish. I think it's still in a crate somewhere in my spare room icon_wink.gif

$12 from Cashies, seriously like new (Even had the foam around the plug), been looking for one for awhile but everytime I see one it is either too much (compared to buying new) or a fake. Best of all it didnt even have a shitty sticker on it (card tag attached via elastic band).

Ahh all this lego, I'm saving up for the life of me for this;

Its around the $280 mark, apparently not the biggest set, but the detail is supposedly phenomenal. I'm halfway there icon_razz.gif

Actually for a question to you Lego fans, have any of you shopped from the online store? I want to as many places have stopped stocking the Harry Potter sets, but I'm skeptical with the shipping as I don't even want the tiniest scratch on my package. Any experiences from ordering off the net or good places to buy off? Cheers!

As soon as I ate that new KFC 'burger' I knew I had to take drastic action...

Excuse the blurriness. I'm still a bit drowsy after finishing off Mass Effect 2 late last night >_>

A couple of nice find.

The Master System games are all complete (including the cardboard insert for the double pack) even the 4 Pak has the manual, which find is almost always missing.

Zelda was about $10

Cost me $25 plus $6.70 postage from the Cashies WebShop (good given it's from WA) From the picture it looks sealed aswell, which would only make it better.

Cool mate, if you find it and don't want it anymore - will buy it off you?

@Xtra - am starting my lego pirate ship collection - definantly will have to add that one to it - rear of the ship looks awesome.

Cheers for the offer but I'm holding on to my Lego for when I have kids.

Mafia II (Xbox 360) - $20 Harvey Norman
Razer Deathadder V2 Gaming Mouse - $54 MSY
Battlefield Bad Company 2 (PC) - $24.94 DSE

I'm using the mouse now (while installing BC2) and it's 100x better than the $10 Microsoft one I had before, and at first I thought the glowing Razer logo was really cool but ended up turning it off after about 5 mins.

Unusual choice for your first PS3 game icon_razz.gif. I haven't played it yet but it seems to have been ravaged by the critics but they'll rate something purely on their "moral" standpoint. If you can look past all that then it's probably an enjoyable game. The fans seem to like it.

I've had my PS3 for a while, it came with our 3D TV, but I was too busy being a PC addict at the time. I've always gone for RPGs/JRPGs (most of my PS2 games are in that category) so it's not really unusual knowing my genre preference.

I decided to be ignorant for this game and didn't look up any reviews, only gameplay videos. So far I love graphics, battle system, game disc system (yay alex kidd!) camera angles in dungeons (really important factor to me) and the 8-bit music and but the dialogue is extremely annoying and the voice acting sends me over the edge, thank god for voice volume adjusting and skipping through dialogue.

Today felt a little bit exciting icon_biggrin.gif

Grabbed a free pair of glasses for spares from ClearlyContact's promo, paid around $15 shipping IIRC. SMW2 $10 from Esposch, three cute K-ON! phone charms cost me around $20, Personas were $20 each from ozgameshop, Trinity Universe $33 from ozgameshop after their $3 off coupon, Another Code: R + Phantasy Star 0 + Golden Sun $35 posted off another forum (I only realised after I'd paid that I already own PS0, oops), Rune Factory Frontier and Sonic Colours were off Zavvi and I can't remember exactly how much I paid since my bf and I ordered together on his credit card and used coupons but I do recall that RFF was ridiculously cheap. Under 10 quid I think?

This lot was $200 posted from Se7en icon_smile.gif

Not a purchase, but didn't want to get attacked by posting it in the 3DS forum...

Sold my 3DS.

Having a 50" 3D TV, I found the 3D on a tiny screen pretty average and not really suitable (given the terrible viewing angle) for gaming.

The launch games were very average at best but the real standout for me was the graphics. Very jaggy, not as impressive as PSP games and the screen is really lacking in a decent resolution when you compare it to decent phones/ipods on the market.

So getting pretty much back what I paid for it, I guess my newest purchase is getting my guilt (from buying the thing in the first place) back.

Vent over.

I bought a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 cooler for my Intel Core 2 Q9550 so I can overclock it. Cost me $33.

Thanks to this huge cooler and the MSI P45 board I've got, I've managed to OC from 2.8gHz to 3.4 gHz as well as OC my RAM. I wasn't expecting dramatic performance increases but I've effectively managed to double (nearly even triple!) my FPS in Crysis 2 at max settings and 1920x1080 res from an unplayable 20 fps to an average of 55 fps! BFBC2 jumped from 30 fps (and even lower when I decided to scope) at max res and settings to 70 fps!

I was all set to pack it in and buy a new video card (currently running an OC Palit GTX 275) but it looks like I'm going to be ok for at least a little while longer.

Pre-ordered the Gears of War 3 'Epic Edition' by taking advantage of EB's PS2 trade deal.

Traded about 10 games (stuff like Cricket 2004) as well as NBA 2K10 on 360 for $90. Ridiculous deal for worthless games apart from NBA.
