You need to use them as soon as you collect them. You can't go back and use them for the Mii games later on. _________________

I think it has been mentioned before, so forgive me if I'm repeating it. When you get streetpass Mii's (remember up to 10 at a time) when you go into the Mii Plaza, the gate cut scene will come on with the Mii's greeting yours. When you are in the menu make sure you go in and collect the puzzle pieces and quest right away, as the next time you go and streetpass some more Mii's and greet this new set of Mii's you will not be able to use the previous Mii's for puzzle or quest.
This is what I have found because I had 4 new ones and I went into the plaza to check them out, closed Mii Plaza, got new Mii's and went back in and only the latest Mii's gave me puzzle and quests.
EDIT: theory beat me to it and in fewer words. So is it as long as you use them as soon as you boot Mii Plaza? Hence exiting without using the Mii's for puzzle or questing will result in forfeited chances.
Also, those unhappy with DS games running on the 3DS seemingly worse than on an actual DS console (due to upscaling, resulting in colours a bit washed out and sometimes blurry looking) you can hold Select [EDIT: Thanks to Esposch for the info of only needing to hold Select] as you boot the DS game and it will produce a 1:1 pixel ratio. This means a smaller picture due to the higher resolution of the 3DS. It's about a 3rd of the top screen and half of the bottom screen but will give you better colours and a sharper image. _________________

Good lord this system is probably the worst smudge/grease magnet I've ever owned. I cant touch anything on it without it having a smudgy overload. Fingerprints friggen everywhere man. Everywhere! _________________

Actually, you only have to hold SELECT. The whole START+SELECT thing is a common misconception based on the early reports from Japan. Try it. _________________

Oh, and I'm pretty sure my top screen has four small nicks in it. I've been very, very cautious about closing the system, regularly clean it, and no amount of scrubbing will get rid of them. I can only assume they're damage from what is probably the worst Nintendo hardware design/manufacturing oversight in the history of their systems.
I love this little system, but goddamn. Pretty fucking pissed off about that, Nintendo. _________________

Did you guys see the hardware charts in Japan this week (and last)? The PSP has outsold it 2 weeks running. Sure you can blame the software (PSP had a major game launch), but it's a bit of a surprise.
Also it's not selling that well Europe either. _________________ Shin J Leon.

It's a 2D picture of a 3D image so of course it isn't 3D.
Also it's spelt 'smudges' and not 'smugs'. I'm getting so sick of seeing every second person spell it wrong when the forums even have a built in spelling checker. _________________

Spelling and grammatical errors are forgivable on a social forum, but a finished game should have been proof-read and have none. I am going to send the game back for a refund...
...after I complete it, of course.

Suck it up, it's a gaming forum, not a creative writing forum. Plus the spelling option is only applicable in the 'reply' full window, not the quick reply. _________________ Shin J Leon.

What spelling/grammatical error? Makes perfect sense to me.
EDIT: "That the there". I'll go shoot myself now. _________________

It's just a plain old typo, big deal. One extra word is nothing, I've seen far worse in finished games. _________________

I wouldn't exactly be worrying. So far the 3DS has outsold the Wii and DS on it's launch. Now most people the really wanted one, have one and many others will be waiting for a price drop or better games, and I'm sure, like the DS, sales will pick up with launchs of games like Kid Icarus and Zelda:OoT (even though it's a remake.). _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

Its bomba.
Well, not really, but the lack of software murdered it. It came out the gate very strong (best selling Nintendo launch in numerous reasons), but sales have dropped off since. Cant blame people for not wanting it when there's no bloody games to play.
Stock holders wont be happy, as Nintendo probably wont meet sales expectations, but I'm sure it will pick up once software starts rolling in. Street Figher has shipped 1million worldwide, so at least that is selling well. _________________

That could also mean there is close to 1 million SSF IV games sitting on store shelves worldwide, still waiting for a buyer.
